This collar works great and its easy to use
My dog would charge at people when they walk by our house. She wouldn't get close enough to touch them but I didn't want to wait for when she got to close and hurt someone. So I got this collar and she doesn't charge people anymore. I use it at 10 out of the 100 levels it has and the collar takes her attion off them and she leaves them alone.

Meh... it has its good and bad points
This product wasn't terrible, but it wasn't fabulous, either.Pros: it did help with training. The controls were easy to use, and has a very reasonable working distance, turning the entire yard into a training area. The BEAST feature of this was a button on the remote that immediately allowed me to immediately ramp down by 50% the sound AND the vibration intensity (we do not believe in shock training, so I cannot comment on this feature).Cons: the collar it came with was terrible. I had to take the unit and attach it to a regular dog collar. I tried the shock feature on myself, and found it absolutely abhorrent. It was calibrated so high that I experienced a minor burn on my skin at 50%. As mentionedbefore, we do not use shock therapy to train our dogs, and this just goes to show why. Had I used this on my dog, serious burns, injury, and mental issues could have resulted. My husband disconnected the shock feature so no accidents occured.Overall,I suppose it depends do on what your goals are with this trainer. Other than the cheaply made collar, this may or may not be the trainer for you. After a couple uses, it got relegated to a back drawer. Our dog learned a couple basic commands, learned who was pack leader, and it was just no longer needed.

love it
I have a 40-50lb lab shepherd mix and this works fantastic. He always barks excessively when anyone is outside even just walking down the opposite side of the street. We have it set on level 2 of the shock and never have to use it more than once. He's a stubborn dog but he is learning slowly but surely.

After the initial charge they worked fine and my dogs responded pretty good so I thought ...
Typical cheap Chinese junk. I really wish Amazon would enforce showing the Country of Origin on everything. I purchased two. After the initial charge they worked fine and my dogs responded pretty good so I thought everything was great. I only used the vibration mode to correct them. One about twice and the other about 6 times. The next day I tried correcting the dog that needs the most correction with vibration and he didn't respond so I removed it to check it out. The beeper worked but the vibration didn't so I plugged the charger in. I thought I'd check the other one and when I plugged the charger in it came right back out because the internal port had broken off and is what I assume is rattling around inside. I'm returning both because even after the one was working again after charging a few hours it seems unreasonable to have to charge it after using it 5 or 6 times. Fundamentally, the design is pretty good, but since it is made in China with substandard materials and poor quality manufacturing (typical of everything made in China), I can only give one star.

Pretty decent product
I have a pretty smart, yet stubborn dog. He was quick to figure out the remote and I were the cause of the high vibrations (that he did NOT like), and it took no time at all for him to listen. When I say "come here", I mean it! He can't chase ducks or people, and he can't dart in front of a car. Though on a leash, he still has a mind of his own if he gets out, so he must listen. This product is like described, slightly on the "cheap looking" end, but it worked. I really am glad I bought this, and I think like others, the dog needs to be an adult though to use it.

Not great - but gets the job done.
I bought this is a last resort for our puppies food aggression issues - she came from a bad situation and had zero training and was basically starved so shes obsessive over her food. I havent used the shock setting on my dog as the vibrate seems to get her attention enough (shes a wild puppy) however, after 2 days the prongs broke off and my dad found them in the yard. He was able to reassemble it and so far it seems to be working... I think you get what you pay for. Shes already figured out that the remote is what is triggering the vibration. This wasnt meant to be long term for us as she is a golden and is a quick learner. Hopefully it keeps working for another month or so and by then her manners should improve. If you need something long term, I would suggest spending the extra money for a more reliable collar.

Great Product
I've had this about a week, was able to follow the instructions and using it the same day. My dog was quickly trained off leash, he's a black lab, of which only took about 2-3 days to get the hang of it all. Highly recommend this product. Especially for the price.

Works great.
Works great. I was having a hard time training my dog, now all I have to do is hit the audible beep and she immediatly pays attention. Granted sometimes I have to play with the collar part to get it to start beeping again. But still am happy with the purchase.
