Tank can be rotated to sit on any side.

Do I need to use plumber dope or tape on the fittings

I used both monster tape and pipe sealant

can i use this on it if using one as a grey water tank? valterra 7105 abs gate valve, black, 1-1/2" mpt x slip

A 1-1/2" MPT should certainly fit on the 1-1/2" FPT fitting. You will have to cut out the seal in the fitting, but this is very easy to do. I used the 1-1/2" fitting for a fill port, with a PVC threaded fitting, and the fit is perfect.

Can i add fittings new outlet fittings to these?

you can drill new holes and glue new connectors as you see fit; keep in mind that you don't have access to the inside of the tank and can't use connectors that need to be bolted through the wall.
