The New Hormone Solution

I plan on gifting this book to all my closest friends! I wish I had this book years ago. It could have saved me the pain of a few awful years and not having been thrown on antidepressants! I’ve been living as a faded, bad copy of myself and had I been equipped with this knowledge I could have been thriving as my best self! I highly recommend this book! Thank you Dr. Erika Schwartz!

I was looking for a book that would explain to me in layman's term what my parents are going through. My parents are approaching their 60s. My father 57, is always grumpy, moody and depressed.This book told me my dad badly needs help with his testosterone. He doesn't need to take his antidepressant which i think is not fixing his problems. My mother 55 and in menopause and her doctor gave her a couple of meds and antidepressant. They are not helping her. I think they are making all her menopause symptoms worst. She gained a lot of weight and is losing her hair. This book explained what women are going through before and during menopause and that natural hormones are the best way to go. Thank you Dr for this well-explained, well thought through, user-friendly book! So now that I am well informed I can help my parents understand what they are going through and I can be their advocate when they speak to their doctors. WOW!

An excellent intro to the clueless...but ::: for a book published in 2017, the information is not...fresh. ALL of these topics have been in addressed by a numerous variety of authors who have presented the info already...ad infinitum...And very many of them could construct better-organized sentences, frankly. (Or maybe they just had better copy editors/proofreaders. I am looking right at you, Post Hill Press, distributed by Simon & Schuster.) A second aspect is, this book is written for all ages and all stages of women. With total pages under 300, this means that NO TOPIC receives in-depth treatment.

Men of all ages, if you do nothing else this month - read this book! The chapter on men is a game changer for guys but the entire book is well worth your time. I am a 60-something who was suffering the classic symptoms of men my age, constant tiredness, an inability to build muscle despite five trips a week to the gym, and a lack of sex drive. This book explained the importance of testosterone and crystalized for me the path I needed to take to recapture the life I want. It also explains so clearly the role of hormones in our life that most people do not understand. Check it out - then give it to your wife to read. She'll love you for it! Really!

I haven’t finished reading it, it will probably take me some time but so far it is very interesting. It has information that my gynecologist and other doctors have not even considered about my hormones and effects on my body.

I am so disappointed in this book. I guess if you no nothing about BHRT it might be helpful, but I read it in a hour and I didn't really learn anything new. I also don't think it is balanced. It is so totally pro BHRT that you come away thinking there are no risks whatsoever. Which is not true. In the back there are references to studies that when looked up seem to disprove some of what she is saying. I don't really recommend this book.

Another Great book ! This Lady MD knows how hormones increase health in hundreds of ways, throughout our bodies. I learned that about 65 years ago from my MD uncle, who kept my Dad alive and fully functional till age 97, with hormone shots twice a month. Get it and read it. She has the guts to go against the whole medical greed machine of the United States.

I'm giving this 3 stars because I didn't learn anything NEW from reading this book. It was recommended to me by someone who told me it had the most current and up to date info regarding BHRT. Apparently nothing has changed in the last 10+ years. So I recommend this only if you are a novice just learning about BHRT. If you have read other books on the subject by authors such as John Lee, Christine Northrup or Suzanne Somers, I doubt you will learn anything new.

So informative , life changing and with this knowledge everyone can get the help they need . I will encourage all my friends to read this book it is imperative

I have bought this book to learn about Herman's and how to deal with it by correct food, exercise and sleeping etc. Eventually I found the book talking about Hermon treatments which I am not planning to do ( I hope i won't need it ever ). I still read the book as I bought it anyway but more than 70% of it is not really something for nutritions or Hermon natural treatments.

Really interesting

Found this a little less objective than I’d hoped. Spends a lot of time criticising other opinions rather than focusing on what you can do. The tone didn’t work for me.

I think if you are woman, you should read this book.I got so much help ,following Dr Schwartz advice, also is written very nicely .I highly recommend.
