Fit great sturdy matel

Had it professionally installed, it fit my Kia but couldn't lock or unlock the door from the outside using my key. Could only open from the inside. Put original part back and door worked again.

Easy to install

At first glance, this part looks like an exact replacement, and I usually have good luck with parts like this. However, when I installed this handle, the lever for the power door lock had difficulty moving back and forth. After closer inspection, it appeared there was some interference where the T-shapped cable ends are held in by a retainer that is reused from old handle. The cable ends for the door handle and the power lock lever lay into grooves that measured 5 mm deep on my old handle but were only 3.5 mm on the replacement. I was able to use my Dremel with a ball shaped end to deepen the slots to 5 mm and they worked fine then. If you buy these, inspect these places as shown in the attached pic and make sure they are as deep as the old handle. Easy fix early on but more of a hassle if you discover it after the door panel is back on.

The mounting holes don't line up properly even tho the vehicle fit checker says it will fit, the handle feels like it will break in my hand when using it, and the lock works, but barely moves, as seen in the video
