I bought it through Amazon Warehouse used, so I already knew that it would have details, in this case it was the cardboard that simulates a mirror that had several scratches, but for the price I am very satisfied with the item received. To turn it on you have to press any of the 3 buttons on the side. To turn it off, you have to press and hold the middle button for several seconds. (This is not stated in the manual) In the video you can see that when it has high speed (when it rotates on both sides) the figure moves from one side to the other, this is due to the cardboard it brings since it is quite smooth and moves a little (it has no grip ). This also happens if the object is not centered properly as the weight of the object makes it overweight the sides. The cable is long. I connected it via USB to my desktop PC and it supplied it with the necessary power to fulfill all the functions correctly. Batteries can also be fitted. The power LED is green. It usually stays on when connected via USB. The stand is rough at the bottom to avoid movement while it works. I hope to get the most out of it from now on, very happy with my purchase :)

I give this 3.5 stars. It works ok. It took a minute to figure out how to make it rotate the same direction continuously but wasn’t too difficult to operate. The directions are on the box. It shudders a little bit as it rotates but I can live with that. The reflective circle that came with it is useless though because it has a huge scratch all the way across. I tried different angles and lighting but it still shows up in photos and videos. That’s a bummer because I was hoping to use it. It is light weight and portable.

The motor is very weak and with very small amount of weight on it, it will stall the motor and create a very uneven rotation. Even with light weight on it it's not very steady and my products (earrings) are twitching as the base rotates. The videos I tried to make for my shop store using this are kind of unusable. Very disappointed with the results.

It arrived timely and in good condition. This product was nicely packed and works pretty decently. It’s very lightweight and the buttons are a little delicate. I had to press one of the buttons twice before it started to move. When using an USB adapter, you don’t need to add batteries. The cord has a good length to it - I was pleasantly surprised. I purchased a white one and it comes with a silver circle to add some color if you want to use it. I think it’s made of some sort of card-stock. I hope it lasts a long time as I like it and will suit my needs.

Make no mistake, this is for a budget turntable and you get exactly that. No internal battery, which I knew going in but as soon as I plugged in a portable battery charger via the USB port, it was off and running. I've had it a few weeks now and used it multiple times so I can attest that it works every time. But the 3 switches/buttons next to the USB port aren't labeled so you might end up pushing buttons multiple times to get the speed and direction correctly set. The biggest drawback however is that it is not a smooth rotation. I had read some previous reviews mention it but I took a calculated risk and turns out the other reviewers were spot on. If you intend to use this for a store display, it should be fine. But using it for close-up videos of product, it's frustrating how jerky the motion can get. It stutters regardless of however much weight you put on it, whether it's the listed limit or something weighing only a few grams, it's still herky-jerky and especially noticable in close-ups. It'll do for how infrequently I use it but if I needed something for business and professionally produced videos, I'd definitely look to something more substantial.
