Globe Electric 60340 Emery Pendant Lighting, Matte Brass, Bulb Not Included

One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon! Such a beautiful light that looks far more expensive than it is. It was easy to install and the quality is phenomenal.

This was a great purchase for our kitchen remodel. It is modern and traditional and sets off the perfect amount of light for our eat-in kitchen. Would highly recommend. Great quality and a great price!

Installed the Emery light fixture today. Very happy with the quality of the fixture and came very well packaged. A couple notes for anyone who may be trying to determine if it will fit their space: it comes with three rods, each 16” inches, for adjustability. The instructions are rather sparse, but the installation is straightforward if you’ve replaced a light fixture previously. In my case, the electrical wire box in my home was not flush with the dry wall of the ceiling, so I had to go to the hardware store to purchase longer screws, something to be aware of, but if your wire box is flush it should line up just fine.

Love this light! It really modernized my space and it's just as bright or brighter than my old 5 light chandelier that used regular bulbs. It looks so good! My only complaints: the bulbs sit a little crooked so that's annoying, and the piece that covers the junction box hole in my ceiling is too small so you can actually see the hole a bit. That was pretty frustrating because by the time you see that you've already gotten the whole thing installed. I just left it and I'll have to figure out some creative solution to cover the hole.

The chandelier exceeded met expectations. It looks great in the family room and has a quality built appearance. I was initially concerned that the brass accents would appear shiny like they do in the photo on amazon. However, the accents turned out to be antique brass, just like the description, and do not attract any undo attention. My concern that candelabra LEDs might not be able to properly dim when connected to my Lutron Caseta dimmer proved unfounded. The Lutron dimmer does not have any candelabra LEDs on its approved list, but the 5 watt candelabra LEDs, fitted to the chandelier, spans flawlessly through the dimming range without any flicker.

First off, for the price, regular price or on sale, this light fixture is a steal. It looks like a $300+ fixture at a minimum. I used this for our staircase but man oh man, it was a tough install. I wanted to use the full length of this fixture. It comes with chain links included but there was at least an additional 3-4” of length that you can get out of this. So I bought black chain links to add to the existing links (took an extra 6 links to get to full length). You’ll see in the pictures how the fixture is fully extended. Next, installation. The plate that you have to connect to your light receptacle basically sunk into my receptacle. It didn’t sit flush with my ceiling. So what ended up happening is that the two screws that you need to secure the fixture at the very top ended up being too short. I would say that the screws that are included to secure the fixture barely, barely come out even if I didn’t have this sinking problem. To fix this, I ended up having to buy a new plate that was a bit wider that the receptacle and allowed the light fixture to sit flush with the ceiling. With the new plate, lining up the screws was a breeze and I was able to secure the fixture easily. The one last annoying thing is that the diameter of the top of the fixture, that covers the receptacle, was slightly smaller than my receptacle. So if you really stare at it, you’ll see a small hole in the ceiling that isn’t covered at the top. I’m planning to get some drywall mud to fill it in, but it’s such a shame. Again, if you’re really looking for it, you can also see the circle of dirt left behind by my previous light fixture. Some paint will take care of that. At the end of the day, the pain was worth the gain. You can see the light fixture from outside the house. Whether you’re in or out, this thing looks like a million bucks. We were thinking of buying a smaller version for our living room but unfortunately they don’t sell anything smaller (other than the wall mounted version). No issues with bulbs or electrical as others have posted. I did notice though that some of the bulbs screw in at a bit of a angle, not straight in, for some reason. Fortunately it’s working well so far. Would not hesitate to buy another one of these again, especially knowing what I’ll need to buy before hand to install it perfectly the first time.

Very disappointed that the shade for this is white and not beige as described so I am returning it. I placed a piece of white paper on the shade to show the colour in the photo attached. I also took a photo of the shade next to my beige dining room chair for comparison. I can't provide any other details, other than packaged well, because I didn't unpack anything else in the box.

Looks great. Easy install. Nice size for bedroom with a vaulted ceiling.
