Each Charlie has a distinctive essence. There are quite a few Charlies colognes: Charlie Classic, Charlie Blue, Charlie Red, Charlie White, Charlie Silver and Charlie Gold. I have noted that the Charlie Blue has a stronger essence. You may wish to research the ingredients further to see whether or not you prefer certain essences more so than others. Charlie Blue has the rose, the oakmoss and the sandalwood. Although one does tend to smell the oakmoss and sandalwood essences more so. I love my Charlie have been using it for over 20 years. The fragrance of flowers always gets me complimented and I am super sensitive to strong perfumes but this one takes the crown. Worth the price. Please note that the one I use says Eau de toilet that one I find has a soft yet summery smell. I will always recommend this product and appreciate how the seller took time to pack it really well.

Well, this isn't the same Charlie I remember from years ago. It seems to be very strong scented, and not at all a pleasant scent IMO. It's OK and I will use it, but sparingly. I took a hint from another reviewer on the Charlie they bought, and I spray the mist up into the air and let it rain down on me. Otherwise, it is too overpowering for my senses. Won't buy this one again, but will try one of the other scents
