Sowohl für die Montage auf der geraden Wand, als auch an einer Gebäudeaußenecke sind entsprechende Konsolen im Lieferumfang enthalten. Die Installation gestaltet sich für eine Elektrofachkraft einfach, Laien haben es evtl. etwas schwerer. Ich empfehle Laien, eine Elektrofachkraft zu beauftragen. (Bin selbst Elektrofachkraft) Die drei Zonen lassen sich entweder über die am Gerät selbst angebrachten Potentiometer oder über die mitgelieferte Fernbedienung einfach konfigurieren, um die Bereiche optimal einzustellen. Der Unterkriechschutz verhindert zuverlässig, dass der Bewegungsmelder nicht auslöst, wenn man versucht, sich unter ihm durchzuschleichen. Der Lichtsensor kann ebenfalls am Gerät oder über die Fernbedienung eingestellt werden. Bei vielen Parametern ist die Fernbedienung die bessere Wahl, denn hier lässt sich viel genauer bestimmen, was man möchte. Auch lässt sich der Bewegungsmelder über die Fernbedienung gezielt einschalten, entweder dauerhaft eingeschaltet bis zum manuellen Abschalten, oder nur für eine wählbare Zeit. Der Bewegungsmelder ist sicher nicht günstig, aber man merkt, dass der Hersteller gute Entwicklungsarbeit geleistet hat. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist vorbildlich. Nichts rappelt oder wackelt, alles passt und das Gerät fühlt sich hochwertig an. Das relativiert den Preis und daher halte ich das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für sehr gut und fair. Mitgeliefert werden ebenfalls in Form und Größe passende Aufkleber, um die Sensorfenster gezielt abzukleben. Damit kann man bestimmte Bereiche ausblenden, in diesen findet keine Erfassung mehr statt. Zur eingesetzten Umgebung: Ich habe den Bewegungsmelder in unserer Scheune (als Garage genutzt) installiert, dort erfasst er sowohl den Zugang vom Wohnhaus (intern) als auch das Einfahrtstor. So haben wir beim Betreten und auch wenn wir mit den Autos in die Scheune fahren, zuverlässig die Beleuchtung eingeschaltet. Meine Frau und ich sind beide in der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr aktiv, bei Einsätzen müssen wir nun nicht mehr das Licht ein- oder ausschalten, alles geschieht zuverlässig automatisch und das ist ein deutlicher Gewinn an Komfort, Zeit und Sicherheit. Aufgrund der umfassenden Angaben in der beiliegenden Installationsanleitung konnte im Vorfeld der optimale Platz bestimmt werden. Nach der Installation und fast intuitiven Einrichtung funktionierte alles, wie geplant und gewünscht. Notwendiges Feintuning erfolgte dann über die Fernbedienung. Die Anleitung ist klar strukturiert und lässt keine Fragen offen. Es gibt auch eine etwas teurere Variante, die eine Steuerung/Einrichtung über Bluetooth und entsprechender Smartphone-App (für iOs und Android erhältlich) ermöglicht. Dann ist auch die Integration in SmartHome Systeme möglich. Das erschien mir aber nicht notwendig, daher habe ich die Variante ohne Bluetooth erworben. Damit bin ich rundum zufrieden. Ich kann dieses Produkt uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde es definitiv wieder kaufen.
