Heavy Duty Weather Proof Multi Purpose Enclosure Amphenol Broadband 9 x 9 x 4 (Interior approx. 8 x 8 x 3-1/2)

This is the second one I have purchased. The box is easy to mount, weathertight, durable and secure. I was very pleased to see the “Made in USA” stamp on the inside. I used one for antenna cable and one for network cable. Does the job and at a very reasonable price.

The product was delivered in a timely manner and was as described. I used it to hide a large splitter installed by Spectrum to add Internet inside at a Lake condo. The original coax cables where hidden in the wall in a utility room. To add Internet, Spectrum said I had to have a 6x3 splitter (supposedly the only kind they had). Problem was, the new splitter would not fit into the wall without cutting the drywall and Spectrum would not do that. I needed some kind of utility box to place on the wall and it needed to cover the original hole and house a 3 inch wide splitter I researched and found this box on Amazon and took a chance that it would do the job. It is very sturdy and comes with mounting screws. It does not have true "knockouts", but the material is sturdy enough that I could use a medium size drill bit to drill around the "circle" that is in the back of the box. After drilling around the hole, I was able to cut out the plastic. This allowed me to thread the 4 cables through the back of the box and connect the splitter. The splitter easily sat in the interior space and allowed the door to shut with no problem. Worked for my application.

Very high quality and with sufficient interior space to expand my current application. Great weather protection to keep connections secure from any weather condition.

This box is plastic but it's well made. My exterior coax cable is now neatly tucked inside this box and the metal connections of the coax are protected from the weather inside this box. The cover shuts and holds securely. The bottom of the box has insulated slots for the cables to go through. But I was disappointed in two areas: (1) It would have been very helpful if this box had come with a template to mark the screw holes - it does not and it's a little awkward to mark where the holes need to be drilled. (2) it would have been wonderful if the screw holes for this box were spaced the same as the old box - in other words, if they were standard spacing. But they are not. It IS a good quality box and it does the job.

Easy to install. For some reason none of the hardware stores in my area carry these, not even the big box stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. I paid more than I expected, but it's nice and secure keeping the weather off of my cable connectors on the side of the house. I wish there was a weather seal gasket around the rim to fully secure the closure.

I purchased two of these boxes to mount outside and hold my power supplies and controllers for my led lights. These work great for this. With the ability to snap closed, lock with a padlock or even lock with an rg6 end. The slots for running wires in and out are also perfect. The ease of use, mount ability and weather protection made this the best box for the job.

I had a bunch of coax bundled outside unprotected. Wanted something to protect the cable from getting destroyed by the rain and mount next to my fiber box. Came with three screws but no plugs/anchors. Otherwise awesome box.

Functional and aesthetic
