These are site boots and great for soft and muddy ground. They grip the foot firmly in use and are reasonable to get on and off. They feel comfortable both in materials and fit, and very dry. They seem to have safety toe markings, but the toes are fairly squashy and I wouldn't consider them particularly protective with regard to heavy impacts, IMHO.
