We own a window and door screen repair company, and have installed many pet doors in patio sliders over the past five years. We used to use a different brand of pet door, but had lots of problems with the front and back separating and falling apart, as the two sides only snapped together. If the pets weren’t very coordinated and ran into the door a few times, it would fall apart. We decided to try this one and have been much happier. It’s easier to install, and stays together very well as it has screws all around the frame to secure the two pieces together. It looks super cute too! Our customers love it! Delivery was quick, and product arrived undamaged. Would highly recommend.

Just brilliant, super easy to install, lockable. Cats figured it out immediately, dogs took a minute. I love that you can just put it into a screen door in minutes, and that it has a magnet close, so wind doesn't push it open. And it's super cute with the paw on it. I'd definitely buy again. They feel sturdy and of good quality and they sit solid in the screen and do not wobble.

I rent and could not put a cat door on the patio glass sliding door, so got this one that I could put on the screen door at least to keep unwanted flying pests out (except my cat when she's flying in). It is easy to install and will be great when my cat gets used to it. Cats are naturally cautious about anything new. 2 things to know that might help you: 1. The little screws and nuts go on easy if you push the screw all the way through the hole and screen netting. Then put your finger tip with the nut on it on the screw end, applying pressure on it while tightening the screw down. It works easily that way. 2) I made the mistake of not cutting the netting absolutely FLUSH with the insides of the plastic door edges. As a result, the swinging door would catch on it. Not easy to fix that but I finally got it off enough with a razor, so it would swing easily. You don't want your cat to have any issues with it at first, like a door that won't easily open. Kinda defeats the purpose. So make sure when assembling to keep the screen net from interfering with the door on the inside of the frame. As I was typing this my cat came up to it and was trying to figure out how to get in without using it. I went over, showed her how it opens then held it open until she was part way through, then gently lowered it so it was on her body and she could feel it as she walked through. I will do that until she gets used to it. She was a feral adoptee, so she is extra wary of changes, but she is also very smart, as they usually are. She will get it, and I won't have to keep getting up to open and close the door to keep the flying bugs or other crawlies out of our home.

I have 2 pets. One weighs 10 lbs and the other 19 lbs. Installed by myself. First few hours did not install the door flap. Pets got used to going in and out. The 10 lb gets in and out very easy. She is getting used to using the flap (see video). However the 19 lb, he doesn't like the flap. Therefore I made a small hole on the flap so when I am outdoors I can leave it open (attached a bungy cord) and he goes in and out. Would like to see them make a "medium" size. Only option was a small or large. As per some of the reviews I chose the small as I did not want my 10 lb to get her hind legs injured with the larger door flap. Very happy with this purchase. Don't have to get up every time they want to go out. Highly recommend. Note: to make sure that the screen doesn't unravel, as the frame is only 1/2", I cut less screen and "doubled" it and then installed the screws and nuts. Could only upload one video.

I installed these for my two cats in a screened windows. They love it. It was pretty easy to install and seems durable so far. My only complaint is the flap locks. They are almost impossible to lock because you can’t grip them to keep the door held steady.
