This electric fly swatter has is awesome! The constant stream of flies that sneak in whenever the door opens was driving me a bit crazy, but this zapper has truly helped. There's a certain satisfaction that comes with hearing the zap as you make contact with one of those buzzing intruders. I've honestly created a little graveyard of electrocuted flies, which just goes to show how much use this thing gets with our open-door policy. It's been pretty effective at cutting down on the sheer number of pests flying around.

Should I feel bad about killing flies? They're get in my apartment and are really annoying. I feel that my sense of calm is more important than there life. Its pretty messed up. I read recently that there like simple computers that have pre-programmed behaviors in response to certain stimuli. I've been using that as my justification. Is this villainous? Have there been any schools of thought on this topic? Somebody help me out, anything helps. Because there is a glassed in porch up here by my apt. that flies are always getting into (gaps). Several try to get in here whenever I open the door. That is an asinine thing for them to do. I open the door. Fly: I am trapped in a large, bright space, so I'll wait until I can get into a small, darker enclosed space. And I hate using Raid for obvious reasons. So I got a fly zapper racket for $10. This thing is more fun than a kid in a candy shop. And it is loud zapping 4000 volts into a fly. Best place to go is the windows they hang out which are bright like where they came from. killed two so far. I have to take the trash out. That will be thrilling. It appears that this zapper is not effective against gnats. They are too small for the grid.
