Great product, great buy.
This framing nailer is well worth the money. I've used Dewalt, Milwaukee, Porter Cable and Makita air framing nailers and this one works just as good. The difference is the price and how long it will last. You have to take good care of this one and cannot throw it around like you would with others on a jobsite. I ran both paper and wire collated (clipped and offset head) nails without any problems and kept air pressure between 70 and 80 psi on the low end of it's range. The depth control works well on both paper and wire collated nails. Where else are you going to find a 28 degree framing nailer for less than $90 ......

Worth every penny
I haven't had 1 problem with this frame nailer. I built a whole chicken coop without 1 single problem. No jams! Little on the heavy side but what are we men or mice! Lol. But definitely worth every penny spent to buy it and I would do it again. Love the switch by trigger that goes from single to bump. Didn't want to switch parts out to go from one to the other. Well made. Thank you

It works
This is a home owner review and I am comparing this to an older Harbor Freight that finally disintegrated. I've probably run 6 full clips of nails through it. 2 clips were 3 1/4 wire weld. Didn't have any jams at all. It seems to randomly shoot out sparks but it sets the nails well. I don't think the mechanism to load the nail locks back when reloading but I've worked around it. Anyway got me through the rest of the shed build so I'm happy.

Worked Well
Completed wooden deck without a single jam or misfire, something my old Porter Cable never did. Somewhat heavy but solid and dependable. That said, it would make more sense for most people to buy a 21 or 30 degree nailer. I bought this because I had a good supply of assorted 28 degree clipped head nails that would have gone to waste.

Worked Great On My DIY Project!
I bought this framing nailer for a home DIY project and didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I won't be using very often. I had a full box of Duo-Fast SM 615 3" 28-degree clipped-head framing nails from a job I did about 15 yrs. ago. That was the main reason for me choosing this particular model. So far, they've worked flawlessly after using about five clips. Duo-fast doesn't make the SM 615 version anymore. That version used plastic tape to hold the nails in the clip and they work great in this gun. However, Duo-Fast does make a paper tape version, SM 615P, which should also work in this gun. I run this gun at 110 psi and get good results. Make sure you remove the rubber nose piece for best performance, otherwise the nail will not set deep enough, even on the deepest setting. I can't think of why anybody would need a rubber nose piece on a framing nailer in the first place, but one is included. I'm very happy with this purchase and it definitely makes framing a lot easier than hand nailing.

Great product! Great price!
Works as it should - good power - no complaints - used it to build a shed. Have some other projects on the drawing board. Will update at later date but so far so good.

Homeowner use ....
... good heavy carton protected the framing air nailer to a fair extent as was one of the more worn shipping cartons I have received thru Amazon. The carton looked more like it had traveled thru Fed Ex rather than Amazon, if you know what I mean. Used the framing nailer for a project I had started on when my older but lightly used air nailer quit. The new frame nailer worked flawlessly right out of the box. Instructions well written, even though the unit was made in China. I will let everyone know how the framing nailer continues to work after I finish my project.

Great price.
Hammer worked great with 3 inch nails. Seems to really have problems with the 2 3/8, drives double nails way too often. Probably have only drove about 200 nails so far.
