Are the labels waterproof or vinyl too?

They are a shiny stick-on vinyl label. I have place wet bottle on top and no water penetrates it.

Are they funny word play based on real records?

They have some real song names. They are a conversation piece but glasses if they sweat it gets real messy. I have found really can not use them. I am going to buy some new ones. I will keep as a conversation piece and we have a very music oriented house.

This was the perfect Christmas gift for my brother who uses his record player daily! The quality is great and the detail is amazing! It can easily be cleaned and wiped and it was a great price! They are fun and unique all in one! It has sort of a real texture to the discs and the place holder fit so nicely.

They look just like mini records. Bought my husband a record player and some records for christmas and this went with it and fit the theme. Worth the money spent. Would be cool to have more customization on bands available
