This shelf looks great in my bathroom, and it is the perfect size to hold spare towels. I also really like finish - it’s not a bright brassy gold, but slightly muted with a slight sheen, and goes very well with the champagne bronze fixtures in my bathroom. For the price, the shelf is five stars. But the assembly was not as effortless as it could have been.Took about 30 minutes to assemble - I used a power drill with an allen bit so it would have taken longer to assemble if I had used the small Allen wrench that comes with the shelf. There are a lot of screws to screw in and it took a bit of doing to start the screws, as the metal frame was not threaded well. It took me a good five minutes, just to unpack everything and over 10 minutes to get all of the little stickers off (every piece you need for assembly has a small round sticker to indicate the step in the assembly process - makes assembly pretty easy, but peeling off the stickers was a pain). It would’ve been nice if the adhesive was a lighter adhesive because the stickers definitely left residue on the glass, but at least the stickers are small. It took effort and patience to peel up these stickers from all of the leg and frame pieces. The instructions were also not super clear for the first step - due to the angle of the line art drawing in the instructions, it’s not obvious which corners the B legs and C legs screw into, and if you don’t put them incorrectly, the holes on the legs won’t be aligned to screw in the shelf. The holes need to be facing the long side of the shelf. But other than the hassle of assembly, I’m happy with the shelf. It’s the perfect size for my bathroom, the finish matches the fixtures in my bathroom, and it’s sturdy.
