Buy DNA Motoring TOOLS-00198 Adjustable Height Mechanics Roller Seat Creeper Stool With Padded Cushion, Tool Storage Drawer & Tray, 350 Lbs Max Weight Capacity: Tool Trays - desertcart.com โ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Got exactly what I was expecting - There are several of these rolling stools on desertcart so I basically just picked the lowest cost one; assuming it was more or less the same product. The reviews here are basically on point: Pro: - Sturdy construction - Good wheels - Easy to assemble - Rolls around smoothly Cons: - One of the two trays doesn't seat/fit fully but it's an easy fix with with a screw, velcro, or adhesive. Definitely annoying but I can't complain since this was half the cost of a "name brand" version - The holes for the wheels are a bit smaller than the standard ones used for most office chairs. So if you upgrade the wheels, plan to drill the holes a little wider. Not a huge deal and I plan to do this because I love smooth skate wheels on everything I definitely don't regret going with this listing/branding versus the name brand one that looks almost identical. I use this to work in my garage and wash the car. It's saved my back and knees! Review: Decent mechanic stool - I've used this mechanic stool a few times now, & it works fine. I'm about 200#, & it doesn't have any trouble holding me up. The trays are kinda dinky, but I expected that.

Cheap & Breaks easily.
Normally I do not make a habit of writing product reviews but with this I absolutely had to. Mind you, I'm a 26+ year special purpose & robotics machine builder. In other words, I absolutely know the distinction of quality engineered and built products vs poorly designed & cheap. Let's get started. First, original item ordered never even showed up and then replaced with an additional shipment of another. Should of been the first sign now that I think ack on it. This rolling mechanics seat is majority molded plastic that snaps together like a kids toy and held in place with a few pieces of hardware. Load capacity says 200LBS. In the real world engineers generally factor in somewhere around 30% safety factor (by design) for loads. I'm 6'1 188lbs and after having this seat for a couple of months with MAYBE 3 hours of actual use on it it has already broken. Literally snapped as I was sitting on it and drilling some holes into a machine frame. Should of known better then to purchase a blow molded plastic mechanics seat. This particular product by all means is heavily over priced for the material, construct & reliability. If I had to guess, likely cost around $8 - $13 to manufacture. Stick with the old-school steel frame rollers.

Overall good, poor quality hardware
Pretty much all decent, but the caster wheels are cheap and the threads on the wheels for the "nuts" were made poorly. I threaded all the nuts on first so the threads would clear up some and then installed on the seat. Drawer also is slightly warped so it catches a little on one corner, but I'll just hit it with a grinder. Provided "wrenches" don't fit well, which isn't a huge deal, you can just wedge a needle nose in there to tighten the wheels. I used the hitch clips for the seat rather than bolts - easier/faster to adjust.

DNA Motoring TOOLS-00196 Garage/Shop Rolling Stool
Best thing I could had ever purchased to help me paint baseboards in my home. It gave me the ability to get low enough to paint without sitting on the floor. Due to the stool having 5 wheels, I didn't have to get off of it to move to the next painting area. I just rolled on down the hallways and continued painting. With the area to sit things in front of you, the area was SO extremely helpful to place my paint can on the stool base and it moved along with me. The only thing I would suggest for this stool is better assembly instructions. The instructions were extremely limited and not much detail. Thank goodness I am analytical and figured it out for myself; however, had the instructions been in more detail & larger print, it would not have taken so long to put it together.

Not very Sturdy
Itโs just ok. I do like the little compartments on the side but the top comes off to easy when you are working on it. I make sure I am aware and donโt fall off.

It is sturdy, has the 5 legs with robust wheels that lock, a bit of a back rest.
Husband loves it.

Good size
This rolling stool is exactly what my husband needed to work on his ,Odell train layout. The best feature is the locking casters. It makes lowering himself on the stool in a limited space very safe. It is also well constructed and moves smoothly.
