The B-24J was the most manufactured model of the B-24 and was the only B-24 model built by all five of the factories that built B-24s. This model is painted as B-24J serial 42-52534 named Witchcraft. The Witchcraft owned by the Collings Foundation is not the original aircraft because the original Witchcraft was actually an H model of the Liberator built by Ford at the Willow Run Plant and the original Witchcraft was scrapped very shortly after the war ended. But the nose art and markings are indeed correct because it did fly 130 missions and 18,188 Liberators were built over the course of a five year period. In my opinion the model of the plane is wonderful. The propellers spin, its nice diecast metal, the paint job is great.
