Replace your existing wired doorbell with the Kasa Smart KD110 Video Doorbell to answer your door from anywhere with your phone and always see what's going on outside your front door. Receive instant notifications whenever someone comes by, even before they knock. The modular chime design allows you to place the chime wherever you have a plug to ensure you are alerted where you need it most. With Kasa Smart technology you can set schedules of when to be alerted or when to mute so that you don’t get disturbed by unexpected visitors (especially for you parents with babies). Keep an eye out for your deliveries, visitors, or possible intruders 24/7 with crystal clear 3 MP video and 2-way audio.

Review: Just what I have been looking for. - I love this product. You DO NOT have to pay $9 a month for THEM to keep your video. It records to a 128Gig SD card. Installation is simple. The Kasa app is very nice. You can draw a square where you want the camera to notice activity. It records audio and video when motion is detected. It erases old video when it runs out of memory. If you have to grab video, on iPhone you can screen record so you can grab what you need to your phone, and send to anyone from there, even police, so easy. When I first installed it. It said the SD card was not the right format. The app kind of froze for a while........it was downloading latest firmware. When that was all done, everything worked great. It comes with an external electronic doorbell as you have to disable your current doorbell. The electronic doorbell has 3 volume levels, much louder than the old fashioned bell we had. It has 8 different ringtones. I did have to buy an $80 Netgear WIFI booster as out router is in a room in the back part of the house and the doorbell is at the front door. Even thought my phone shows 5 full bars, the video camera wasn't getting wifi. Once the WIFI booster was "WPS" synced to the router (push the button on each device) it all worked. When you monitor the video feed, you can hear audio from the outside. Using the app, you can use your phone to talk to the person at your front door. The audio is loud and clear. I have 2 KASA wall switches that turn on the lights to the front and rear doors in to the house. I have 2 KASA lights that use the app. You can change color and brightness. I have 4 KASA smart outlets, when Christmas comes, the app turns on all the Christmas lites in the house a the same time. I am in heaven. 1 app for everything with NO MONTHLY FEE. This is working for me. I hope it works for you too. I might buy a cheap small tablet that can be set to monitor the video at the front door all day.
Review: Great product - Well worth the $50. Integrates with home assistant and frigate. Easy to install and image quality is great. I personally use tailscale and everything works fine. The door trim was my issue. It wouldn't sit flush. I snipped the wedge and everything fit. It's wired so no battery life. Easy setup and wifi is not dropped. My wife loves it for Security of our daughter.

A: Yes, it will connect directly to a 16-24V AC, 10VA minimum transformer. There are step-by-step instructions in the app for setup as well as a setup video on the KD110 support page.

A: Yes, the KD110 only works with its dedicated chime (and not your existing chime).

**Q: How do I install the chime?**

**Q: If I mount my doorbell perpendicular to the door, will the angle of the camera be enough to see people walking up?**
A: Yes, we offer a 160°diagonal field of view and an included 15° wedge which can orient the camera more towards the approaching walkway.
