It has an 3/4" opening. **Q: Does this filter fit my 2006 chevy silverado with duramax diesel?** A: "YES" it will fit a Duramax diesel engine, the oil filter is factory mounted on a angle and nothing is in the way plenty of room, I bought this filter and a Donaldson P550832 that cross's to the PF932, filter to compare both. I like the oil drain-back better on the Donaldson. **Q: Will this will this fit on a ford 2.3l, or small block like the 260, 289, 302, 5.0 etc?
