A Lifesaver for Quick Fixes!
I recently used Rescue Tape by Bond It to fix a leak in a well pipe, and I couldn’t be more impressed with its performance! The tape is super easy to apply—just stretch and wrap it around the affected area, and it bonds tightly to create a durable, waterproof seal. The instructions were clear, and the tape worked exactly as advertised, holding up even under pressure. After applying the tape, the leak was sealed instantly, and it’s been holding up perfectly ever since. It’s a great solution for emergency repairs when you need a quick fix without the hassle of professional tools or services. It also works on various surfaces, which is a nice bonus for future repairs around the house. The quality of the tape is outstanding, and it really does create a strong bond. I’m confident this will last for a long time. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable and easy-to-use emergency fix! Pros: • Easy to apply • Strong, waterproof seal • Works on various surfaces • Great for emergency fixes • Durable and reliable Cons: • None so far!

Works great, lasts long
It's almost freaky how well this tape works, but as I was sealing a very large joint, I had to use quite a lot. I definitely would like a lower price. Still, it kept working all summer in my outdoor garden in full sun & heat.

A temporary fix, great find!
I decided to give this a try after seeing the reviews. I have a leak in my kitchen sink on two PVC pipes. My landlord is very slow to fix things, so this was my temporary solution. (I don't want to move because my rent is exceptional and the neighborhood is great) I tried this on one side and used the whole roll to be absolutely certain that it would stay in place. Like other reviews mentioned, it is difficult for the tape to stick to anything but itself. I found that when I started wrapping the tape, I needed to hold one spot in place and then stretch the tape as far as I could and then start wrapping it around itself. Once I had the first wrap done, it was very easy for me to start building the other layers of tape around it. I ordered another roll for the other side of my sink and it has seemed to be holding up pretty well on each side. They have both been wrapped with tape for around 2 weeks. I noticed a tiny bit of leaking the first two-three days after wrapping, but now I see no leaks at all. I think over time, the tape fuses to itself more. I had to keep buckets under my sink for a long time and now I don't have to worry about them anymore. I understand that this is a temporary fix, but this was much easier (for the moment) than hassling my landlord or trying to replace the sink myself (which I really don't want to spend the money on). My advice to others would be to take your time while wrapping the tape around whatever you need to. If you have a bigger project, I would suggest buying two rolls at a time to be safe. It's quite easy to run out of one roll if you're not paying close enough attention like I did. I am satisfied with my purchase and it has provided me peace of mind with leaky sink pipes.

Great rescue tool, not a gurantee fix
I used this to patch a leak in my power steering hose before I could get around to replacing it. It was an oily mess in a tight spot, dealing with a pinhole leak that developed right after changing the fluid, so I couldn't really get a good seal. It did slow the leak so I didn't have to add as much fluid and gave me some time. Probably works best on water based/ radiator hoses than on oil based situations. Good enough that I keep a roll in my car with my emergency kit

This stuff is awesome. Lifesaver.
This stuff is great and has saved me a few times so far - specifically with old, busted iron plumbing, as well as newer PVC. *Especially in conjunction with other repairs. If you apply it the way it says it works fantastically.

A Waste of Money for My Needs.
I have a pinhole leak in the threads of a 55 year old galvanized metal pipe that feeds the toilet supply line. The pipe comes up through the floor, with very little of it extending above the subfloor, and unknown to me has been seeping long enough to damage the subfloor surrounding it. I bought the Rescue tape hopeful that it would stop the leak until warmer weather when my brother could go under the house and replace the leaky pipe. Unfortunately, not enough of the pipe below the threaded joint was accessible enough to stretch and wrap 2 or 3 inches, so I started about an inch below the threads. It was a real headache, trying to pull away the backing, stretch the tape as I tried to wrap it, only to have it unravel as soon as I eased the tension enough to remove more backing. It promptly unraveled three or four turns causing me to have to stretch and wrap again. By the time I got to the end of the pipe threads and the coupling it threads to, both the tape and my patience was done. I couldn't get the end of the tape to stick to itself. It unraveled again about 2 inches. I finally got out a roll of heavy duty Pro-pvc tape and wrapped it around the end of the Rescue tape, then wrapped the entire blob of Rescue tape with the pro tape. Who knows if any of it stopped that tiny leak. I'm taking a break to get my blood pressure back under control, and will check the pipe again in a while. I hope so, anyway. Had the product information been clearer about its limited application, how it can't be used in tight spaces when stretching the tape 300% while trying to wrap it, I never would have bought it. I never would have wasted my money.

Very little on the role.
For the price, needs to be double the size. Haven't had to use it for what it is for and hope it stays that way. But works and clings and stretches.
