How do you reset the counter? need answer asap. thanks!

Some of these buttons have a little bit of a wear in period. Please try giving it a little wiggle as you hold it down for a short period of time. Might need to give it a little extra force as well. If that does the trick, then I'd ask to give it a little bit of use and it should wear into easier form. If the problem persists, please let us know.

Could someone please tell me the exact battery this counter takes?

I’m not aware that it has a battery

Replaced battery and now it won't count at all suggestions? I’ve only used it two months and feels like the battery should not have died that quicky?

Does this row counter work while the machine is in panel mode?

Yes if you have the magnet on the machine at the edge of the panel starting stitch.
