Amazing Amplifer Punches Above Its Weight
I built a cabinet for my TV. I wanted to place some external speakers in the cabinet. I did not want a soundbar. I needed a small amplifier to drive the external speakers. This amplifier works so well for my application. My setup sounds amazing.

Stunning little device
I am somewhat of an audio enthusiast and let me start by saying that this is one incredible and powerful little amp. I've recently completed a rebuild of some Polk Audio 6.5" outdoor speakers and bought this amplifier to power them. Let me tell you, the sound level is truly amazing. This amp really has some muscle and the sound quality is quite good. I did, however, have a slight issue and need to apologize to Douk Audio. I had a replacement unit sent to me due to Bluetooth audio dropouts and severe distortion. I thought I had a defective unit, but the replacement had the same problem. Come to find out, the problem is with my iphone 6. The iOS was recently updated to 10.3.2 and it ruined the phone's Bluetooth connectivity when connected via wifi. All of my Bluetooth devices now have audio playback issues. The Nobsound's Bluetooth function does work perfectly with my other tablets and wife's iphone 6 which has iOS 10.2. The build quality seems pretty solid and I do like the fact that it accepts banana plugs. So far, the longest continuous playback has been about 1.5 hours and the amp only has gotten moderately warm playing at mid to low volume. I will be putting it through the paces soon. I plan on taking it to the beach along with my outdoor Polks that I previously mentioned. I'll be using a 12ah SLA battery with a 150W inverter for power. I've tested the set up and it works pretty well. I estimate the battery should last about 6hours using the supplied 5A power pack and pushing the amp below 50% volume. The beach will definitely be rockin' when I show up....ha!. Seriously though, in my opinion, having a set up like this makes a portable Bluetooth speaker obsolete. This is like having your home stereo with you anywhere you go, EXTREMELY loud with clear quality sound. I don't normally write reviews, but after seeing the other lack luster and not so good reviews, I had to chime in. I am thoroughly impressed and will highly recommend this Nobsound to anyone looking to power an extra set of speakers. I will definitely purchase another whenever this one goes out.

Works for what we need
This Nobsound Mini Bluetooth 5.0 Power Amplifier works for what we needed - which was a way to transmit signals to our outdoor speakers. Previously, the unpowered outdoor speakers had been connected to a head unit in the house and was able to be controlled via a remote. Alas, that head unit bit the dust and technology has moved on so most music is now digital (as opposed to the CD's we were using). The amplifier from the speaker manufacturer was exceeding expensive, even with a discount, so I found this unit. The item comes well packaged and has the appropriate connectors for whichever input you would like to use. This unit works and is able to accept bluetooth music from my phone (and, presumably, a tablet) as well as my PC (where most music resides). I saw no reason to test the other inputs, but I'm sure they are fine. This amplifier will return music to our spring evenings outdoors. There are a few annoyances, however. I think most have been addressed by others, but here is my take. First, the instructions are just not very good. When I opened the package and saw no markings or instructions about the bluetooth, I thought it wasn't included. Fortunately, I re-read the description and verified that it was. Checking my phone, I saw the device and all was good from there. Secondly, the volume control is odd; it can be adjusted in two places, either the source (phone/PC) or at the amp via the knob. I think I'll be selecting a set volume on the amp and let the source determine the volume level (usually the phone, because the PC and amp are located upstairs). Finally, and I don't know if this is something that can be controlled, but I left the amp connected to the PC and all sounds were transmitted - even though the music player was closed. So, various beeps and tones were broadcast to my neighborhood. I solved that by turning the amp off. Summary - good value amp that accepts bluetooth signals for my outdoor speakers. Has a few quirks, but I'd recommend it to others.

Very decent for the the size and cost -- far from "unbelievable" though
The reviews that claim this is "unbelievable for the size and cost" are rather... apocryphal. That said for a USB DAC, I would definitely say it's fairly decent, and overall does a good job. I use this to drive some 160W Pioneer reflex loudspeakers and it does a good job; I have this amp at 1/4 on the volume dial and that's plenty enough for room easy listening, with little noticeable distortion and no obvious clipping. The connectors on the back work with both spliced cables or banana plugs; I did reuse some existing decent audio cables and it's comical how they drag the small lightweight amp down. I do have some cons though: - By default the unit seems to enter Bluetooth mode (blue status led) and I need to unplug/replug the USB cable for it to switch back to USB (green status led). - Mode changes are accompanied by an absolutely unnecessary "USB mode" or "Bluetooth mode" announcement via the speakers. I wish this could be turned off as it's wholly unnecessary to hear when I power up my system. - When the USB plug is connected and the laptop source is not issuing any sound, there's a clear white noise hiss coming out of the speakers. It is _very_ noticeable. That does not happen in BT mode. So let that sink a bit: in USB mode, there's a clear *analog* white noise hiss when there's no USB signal... That leads me to believe they don't turn the amp off even though the USB is not providing any data. That white noise is present in the "quiet" sections of music too. - I tried to use it in BT mode and there's a clear noticeable delay, at least 250 ms or more. It's significant enough that I can't watch a movie with that in BT mode. - The power supply is fairly light and never seems to get too hot. Probably the typical buck converter design. It would not be a bad idea to put these behind a power strip and cut power completely when you're done. Bottom line : The sound is acceptable for what costs a fraction of a proper USB DAC. However the BT/USB switch and the mode announcements are real turns off.

Very fine little amp for my needs!
I purchased this amp in July 2023 just prior to moving to the Philippines. I have tons of audio equipment, but realized I would not be able to take much with me. I tried out the amp with a pair of Sony SS-SC5s and was impressed with the clarity and imaging, as well as the bluetooth capabity that the amp provided. Especially for the size and money. Sadly, I was unable to take my Sony's with me, I was only able to pack a pair of small Paradigm speakers in my luggage. This has been my system that I've had to rely on until I return to the states. The amp has been very reliable. I will not bring it back to the states with me, but I wouldn't be able to enjoy music listening here in the Philippines had I not purchased it and brought it with me.

Mostly good
This was offered to me as a discounted item with a pair of Douk bass transducers. The price point was already pretty appealing before that. So far, it’s working pretty well but I had to buy a separate 100W power supply to get the most oomph out of my setup. My main gripe is the bluetooth functionality. Every now and then, whatever I’m doing gets interrupted with a voiceover that I can only assume is part of the bluetooth pairing process, it only plays through the connected transducers and is unintelligible. Totally breaks the immersion of whatever I’m in the middle of, I’m likely going to take it apart and modify it to outright disable bluetooth.

Underpowered for Dayton BST-1 Bass Shakers, Misleading Power Claims
I bought the Nobsound Mini 5.0 to power my Dayton BST-1 bass shakers in my sim racing setup, and it was a letdown. Despite the advertised 50W output, this amp doesn’t actually deliver 50w to drive the BST-1s effectively. The tactile feedback is weak, lacks punch, and can distort well before reaching meaningful vibration levels, even with careful tuning. Bass shakers demand solid low-frequency power and headroom to feel immersive. Unfortunately, the Mini 5.0 runs out of steam quickly and fails to push the BST-1s to their potential. If you want strong, responsive bass shaker feedback especially for road texture, engine rumble, and impact cues this amp simply doesn’t cut it. For anyone planning to run Dayton BST-1 shakers, I cannot recommend the Nobsound Mini 5.0. The real-world output falls far short of the claimed specs. Instead, consider the Fosi Audio TB10D, which delivers much more usable power and consistent, clean low-frequency drive that truly brings bass shakers to life. This alternative is a far better choice for tactile feedback in a sim racing rig.

good power in a tiny package
This is an amazing little unit! Clean, clear sound. Delivers plenty of power especially considering that it fits in the palm of your hand. You aren't giving up much over larger units, but if you don't want to mess with bass/treble/EQ adjustments, or need a whole bunch of inputs, it's perfect. Not that it is deficient in the input area with USB, BT, and RCA inputs. Nice big volume knob, easy to find in the dark or in an inconspicuous location, I have it mounted under my work desk with velcro, its size makes it easy to reach, but out of the way. Feeding it USB from my Mac playing to these, anything over 1/2 volume will drive me out of the room. I may just have to listen to music all day! One tiny thing, and it isn't bad although not mentioned in the product description. When connected USB the wall wart 24VDC power brick isn't needed. Might have useful applicability in mobile applications or for outdoor listening, I haven't tried it with various USB power sources, or a non-USB sound source, so YMMV, but it works for me.

A Jules. Worth perhaps $5
A joke amp. It is a fraction of the power advertised

Llega a impresionar
