She even did a wonderful rendition of Latimores track.."Lets straighten it out..track.. She sampled a few other old school song tracks I recognized, but she did so well so I won't and can't complain! I won't say that any of the sings are dated simply because to me good music is timeless, which means its not "trendy" and therefore will always be in style and sound great! This is a must have for Monica fans, and I am happy with my own purchase.I plan to buy more Monica cds in future.Happy to have this in my music cd collection! Review: Lovely - Good music

Miss Thing, You Still Got It!
I never had the chance to buy this CD when it first came out back in the 90's. So, now I figured why not. Monica has an amazing southern soul voice. Listening to her brings back memories.

Case came cracked
Glad to have been able to purchase this cd for a meet and greet with Monica for her to sign BUT the case came cracked….thats my only complaint.

20年以上前に出たこのアルバム。14歳で作ったbefore〜は説明不用です。 現代のR&Bは音が増えた曲が多い中、これが基本だよと聴くたびに感じます。もちろん現代の曲も好きですけどね。メロディよりも歌詞と声が頭に残るという感じ。 初めて聴いたら、しばらく90sしか聴けなくなるくらいの名曲です。 アリーヤと共に絶対持つべきCDの一枚ですよ。
