Received the latest revision with updated drum, my cat has started using it and so far so good. The air purifier and ability to weigh your cat via the PetKit app is very smart. My only concern is the lifespan and reliability of sensors etc but I guess time will tell. So far worth its money in gold

I love the application it can recognize the cats. And it is easy to set and use. No smell and the cats love it.

3 cats using it on daily basis without any issue

I have 8 cats and I had 10 litter trays which is really difficult to manage when you are working etc. I read reviews saying max 4 - 6 cats. But it is working great, it gets full after a few days. But it saves having to scoop everyday. You get a message on your phone that the bin is full and all you do is change the bag, just like changing your garbage bin. I am thinking of buying another one just to lighten the load.

This is my favorite scent! Not only do I love the smell of this stuff, it actually WORKS! It lasts a good while, and definitely worth the money to me. In the last year I have bought this 4 pack twice, so I would say it's much easier on the bank than the powders you can buy for litter boxes, and this works WONDERS compared to any of that stuff!

I have been using this litter box for over 4 months, and I am very pleased with it. We have had cats for the past 10 years, and decided it was time to get an automatic litter box. Our biggest apprehension was the price as most all of them are well over $500, but we wanted to try one out since we would be out of town multiple times in the coming months. We did a lot of research and almost went with the Litter Robot 3 but I thought the opening looked too much like a vagina. We eventually decided on this PetKit New Version since it was larger than their Pura model and I am so glad we did. It arrived promptly and the assembly was very straight-forward. The app was easy to install, however, it is extremely over-engineered with a lot of unnecessary features. PetKit needs to simplify the app and make the UI more organized, but after a while, I got comfortable with it and was able to figure everything out. The box connected to my wifi in a matter of seconds and the app was able to detect and sync with the box immediately. I filled it up with litter (We use FreshStep Clean paws low tracking litter and it works fine with this litter box) and it was all ready to go. We have two cats (one 12 lbs, and one 7lbs), and at first they were very apprehensive to use it, but once we took the other litter box away, they had no trouble getting in and out and using it. In the first few weeks, anytime it would run the clean cycle, they would run over and just watch with intense curiosity at the cylinder rotating. I still catch them watching cautiously as the cylinder rotates their poop away. I was a bit worried to go out of town and leave the cats alone without someone to check on them. They have auto feeders/fountains, but we would always have our friends come by and clean the litter box for them in the past. When we arrived back from our trip, the box was clean and the cats were happy. With two cats, it takes about 5 days for the bin to max out which it pretty impressive. Since then, we have gone out of town a few more times, and the litter box has worked perfectly. I just love the fact that it is always clean for them and how customizable the settings are. We have it auto clean after 30 minutes from when either cat exits the box and that seems to be enough time for the poop/pee to solidify in the litter keep the track marks to a minimum. We have the air freshener spray once per day, but I don't really think it needs it. It doesn't smell like cat at all as long as you clean the surfaces and empty the bin in a timely manor. There is also an LED light inside the box, which is a nice feature, but I don't think it is necessary. I also enjoy receiving notifications on my phone when either cat uses the box and the duration they were in it. The app allows you add each cat by weight and that is how it detects who is in the box. All the safety features are great as well. The cylinder will not rotate if it detects a pet inside or around the perimeter of the box, however, I have found anytime I need to put the box in maintenance mode for cleaning to do it on the app instead of the controls on the box itself. It will detect me close to the box and falsely say a cat is in the area. **Also make sure the box is sitting on a completely flat area, or it will not function correctly**. The box is also super easy to clean and can be taken apart in very little time to wipe it down. I have made it a habit to wipe it all down anytime the bin is full. The litter mat is large and of good quality and catches the majority of litter on kitty's paws. I haven't had any issues with it for the past 4 months of using so I am giving it 5 stars. This has saved us a lot of time and headache and while the price is pretty steep, I think it was worth it.
