That all changed once the lift was paid for and installed. The installer did a nice job putting in my Auto Lift 9000 lb 2 post lift. My floor was perfectly level, post were level on all sides, and all measurements were checked and rechecked. Despite this the lift arms are off about 2” side to side. Best Buy Auto equipment kept directing me to Tuxedo lifts (distributor) out of Texas. Tuxedo was even worse to deal with. After hours of phone calls, taking pictures for them, emails, and playing phone tag with technicians. They eventually told me this was within specs for that lift. Spent $3000 on a lift that every car sits on uneven side to side. It is always embarrassing when someone comes to my shop and ask why the car is sitting crooked on my lift! Their answer was to compensate using the adapters that came with the lift. Horrible experience and I will never deal with Best Buy Auto Lift or Tuxedo again. Looking forward to the day I move I’m gonna sell this lift and buy a nice four post lift from a reputable company.
