Impressive
This thing is so easy and really works well. I’m using it to cinch down paracord around my pool cover. Holds tight! I’m not sure I’d trust it with weight load on a highway unless you have good rope and really double lock it somehow. But dig it!

A most amazing, useful, yet deceptively simple device
Bought 3 and they solved my problem. The problem was opening the sun umbrella on the deck when it was windy. (Otherwise I fry.) These hooks, attaching ropes in a triangular pattern, hold the sun umbrella stable so I can just relax. (Nope, never tested in a hurricane and I don't want to.) These hooks make set-up a breeze (please pardon the pun). Quick and easy with great holding power.I highly recommend them.

Keeps things Tight.

Work great with 550 cord. They even held in pouring rain when the cold was wet
Tension on a camping tarp using 550 cord. Made for fast tightening and loosing of the tarp. Also negated the issue of knots that may not be easy to untie. It held great inline and also lashed to a tree.

I'm not a good knotter
I confess to being knot challenged. I am simply not good at tying a secure knot. I covered my camping trailer with a large tarp to protect the roof, and needed to secure it to the camper with eight tie-downs. Not only did I want the tie-downs to stay tied down, I wanted to be quickly able to release the ropes and remove the tarp. These rope tighteners saved the day, and saved me endless frustration. They are effortless to install, easily moved, hold the tiedown ropes securely, and instantly release when I want them to. I could knot be happier.

Large figure 9 rope tightener
This is a great tool for any avid camper or prepper. The figure 9 makes tightening rope very easy. I actually do this with one hand. Just follow the instructions on the tool & enjoy! No more frustrating nots to tie & fight with! Great tool... Get several for your bug out bag & camping gear. You will wonder how you managed before this great tool . The small ones are very small (FYI). They work just slot smaller than I thought. They both work great with para cord or 550 if you're like me😎.

Works well, but tying a trucker's hitch does the same thing for free :o)
Works well and does what it is supposed to. It just doesn't do anything a well tied knot (trucker's hitch) does just as well. If you want to tie things down and don't want to use knots, then this is for you. If you like to tie knots then using (or learning) a simple trucker's hitch makes this item unnecessary.
