I let my silver jewelry get a bit too tarnished. My usual cream polish did not completely remedy the problem, so I ordered this product. This was just great! A quick dip, then a wash, and the pieces were gleaming. It is particularly good for chains and for items with many crevices or links. The jar has a small basket inside so you can pull out the items and rinse them easily. Do take care not to leave the silver in the solution too long -- it does not take a lot of time to have clean silver. Buff with a soft cloth after drying.

OK, so there’s a couple of things you need to know about this product. There are some good things and some bad things. So let’s talk about the good things first this works very quickly and is very potent. It is time saving and if you don’t want to fool around with messy creams or polishing cloths that aren’t gonna get into all the nooks and crannies, this is your product. Now let’s talk about the bad parts of it. THIS IS ONLY FOR STERLING SILVER JEWELRY. IF THERE IS “ANTIQUING“, DARKENED AREAS, ON THE JEWELRY, THIS WILL REMOVE IT!!!!! THIS IS NOT FOR SILVER PLATE AND THIS IS NOT FOR WHITE GOLD. ALSO, THIS IS NOT FOR JEWELRY THAT HAS STONES IN IT. NO STONES OF ANY KIND. ALSO IT NEEDS TO BE RINSED AFTER DIPPING. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the part about no stones and rinsing it off until after I had dipped my first piece and that’s on me. I almost ruined a very valuable to me piece. I do not recommend you use this unless you have a severely tarnished piece. This is not for every day cleaning or even monthly cleaning. This is for jewelry that has gotten stuck in the back of your drawer that you may be forgot about and it looks like it’s been buried in a treasure box for 100 years. The other thing you need to be aware of this when you first open it, you will smell a minty smell that smell will serve you well later on when you’re using this because as anyone knows who has cleaned severely tarnished silver place settings there will be a sulfur brimstone, like smell while the tarnish is being eaten away. Having settled this if you meet these requirements, this is your product.

Best silver jewelry cleaner that I've used. It's quick and clean. Literally 10 seconds and your jewelry is sparkling. I took one star away because of the price. I have purchased this for $5.99 and now it's almost double that. Ugh.

Works only after a few seconds and leaves my silver jewelry looking brand new. The only downside is that the product has a very foul smell and tends to foam up a lot, so using it can get a little messy and the smell lingers for a bit.

Ordered this product from Amazon and had it delivered the next day. Put a severely tarnished sterling silver chain and anchor pendant in it, let both soak for 10 seconds and when they were lifted out in the little plastic basket, they were dazzling! Great product! It works!

I have used this cleaner for a lot of years. It is wonderful and effective for keeping silver jewelry clean. I have decades old pieces that I keep clean with this. Is is safe for hard gemstones such as diamonds, sapphires, rubies, etc. DO NOT use on softer stones such as coral and turquoise. It will ruin them. For those items use a silver cleaning cloth or dip a soft rag into this cleaner and carefully clean only the metal parts. Use this same method for anything with antiquing as well, otherwise the cleaner will remove all the antiquing. Rinse all clean items after using the cleaner and pat dry on a soft towel. This will also clean other metals as well. I use it on my bronze and brass coloured items without any problems, but please aware that would be at your own risk. Good luck and happy sparkling silver!
