Review: Absolutely brilliant - This and Goodbye Eri are two of the best manga I've read in 2022. When I saw they were printing it in the UK, I was delighted! I've not read Chainsaw Man, which I feel is a little different to these self-contained stories. It's rare to have manga outside of the 20 page weekly chapter format, and I think that these almost graphic novellas show the love for creating that this author has. There's a very unexpected twist, and the character is wonderfully imperfect but very engaging. I shan't spoil it! You can read this as part of the Shonen Jump app subscription, but it's a very different and actually much more pleasant experience to read the paper copy. A good idea would be to the read it on the app first and then buy the book of you loved it. 5/5 recommend for more mature manga fans. Based Fujimoto as per usual.
Is Fujimito on another level when it comes to manga writing? Hell yeah. I always feel different having read one of his mangas. His writing and story always hits different from other mangakas. The amount of time I'll just sit there staring at one page or panels and just think really deeply about the complex characters he's created, something you dont get with an anime.

Amazing and Heartbreaking Story, very recommended

Short but an amazing story and great art. I suggest reading before watching the anime movie, so you can see the manga come to life and you won’t be disappointed. An amazing experience. Afterwards, explore more of his work. It can become crazy at times but Fujimoto is rather creative and smart with his work.
