I installed it in the basement where I needed a utility sink and this Saniswift Pro pump was perfect. All the parts you need are included which is great. I spent more time getting tapped into my septic system just because of tight spaces but setting up the pump was a no-brainer. Working well and it is pretty quiet. You can hear it when it comes on, but it runs for less than 10 seconds.

I buy weekly from Amazon and rarely leave a review. Take this as a warning--this is not a long term solution for a basement laundry sink. If you have an opportunity to buy a different brand or are not a DIYer consider other options. Although the unit is cheap, I've spent thousands over the three years I've owned this with plumbers installing, troubleshooting, replacing, etc. I should have had the foundation opened up and a sewer pipe run... Long story short they just aren't reliable. They replaced it once under warranty--this was after they told me the install was incorrect (I brought another plumber in--it wasn't). It just burned out. The use is extremely light--this is in a summertime cabin that maybe does 10 loads of laundry a month. A year later, more problems. Had to replace a capacitor. Now another year later, dead again. Hadn't been run in about 4 months. Motor buzzes but does not pump. If you read online reliability is a major issue with these--it will work initially--but this is a piece of your home's infrastructure that you can't take for granted. Consider other solutions or be prepared to do maintenance/troubleshoot/replacement yearly. Tech support there is well aware of the issues and will be quick to tell you when you are out of warranty.

I have a short lift to reach the drain from a wash sink. I have no complaints about the operation works well. I’ve only been using it for a month. I hope it has many years of good service.

I have installed numerous types of these pumps from SANIFLO and this specific pump is by far my least favorite. Having to drill a 2” hole in a 2 1/4 pipe to create the outlet is ridiculous. Why does this pump not have the holes like all the rest. I am glad a homeowner did not try this install this

The pump itself seems to be reasonably well built and works just fine for a basement utility sink. The only downside is that none of the advertised parts were included (and the box it came in was not even large enough to include the parts). Minus one star for the missing parts. On a positive note, the second top inlet can serve double duty to connect a combination air vent and overflow drain. You just need to cut a hole for whatever fitting you use to connect the vent/overflow line to the side wall of the sink.

Works great for pumping out walk-in bath tub that is in a finished basement

There are no accessories inside, so I paid the workers in vain.

PROBABLY FINE FOR SHOWER-BUT NEEDED FOR A BASEMENT SINK AND FINALLY GOT IT INSTALLED ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO WITH 2 CALLS TO REPAIR MAN, LEAKING. DRAIN NOW WORKING OK WITHOUT THE PUMP. WOULD APPRECIATE A CREDIT OR REFUND. THANKS

Unfortunately there are no ZERO stars because this is what this pump deserves. Has been in use for 1 year and 2 months with MINIMAL use. Pump is making noise but is not pumping. The mess left behind while disconnecting is HUGE. Steer away. Lots of cheaper pumps available, and you know what, if things go wrong at least I do not regret it BECAUSE I bought a cheaper pump. GARABAGE.
