We bought a number so that when we get a power cut, there is one for everyone to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright light *by P***R on 11 February 2026* These lights are not the most expensive lights that can be bought BUT they work really well. Once charged, they throw a lot of light. The build quality is fairly good (dropped a few times but keeping on lighting). Well worth the buy... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would be very handy during a power outage *by G***2 on 27 October 2024* like in a hurricane! We has an older (more costly) similar product that needed replaced; it was a cobb led only and fewer lumens. This product is very bright (cobb led), has a flashlight feature, and two emergency red flasher modes. The only negative is NO INSTRUCTIONS. Of course, that is not needed to install 3 AA batteries that seems to allow all functions to work. The confusion is... there is a USB cable connector for charging. When connected to a power source, a red LED near the flashlight switch comes on, and after about 3 hours it turns green. The flashlight function seems brighter once this charging is done. The confusion is... just what does the chargeable battery supply or supplement? For sure, the USB cable is not charging the alkaline batteries in the base.
