I purchased this as at our old home our garage door opener had an App that you could sync your phone to and be able to open and close the garage door. The opener at our new place didn’t. We missed that capability so I found this item and ordered it. Simple to install and it works perfectly. I can open the garage door with my IPhone from anywhere. I’ve had occasions that I needed to open the door for a family member but I was miles away. Open the App and bingo the door opens and closes with a push of icon.

Works well and as described. Only wish there were two sensors instead of one.

Installation and pairing was a breeze, works fine too. The only annying thing is that it beeps loud when opening and closing.

Save your $$$. Installed using step by step instructions. After one day it went offline. Had to reset completely and totally re-setup to get it to come back online. Wireless signal strength is excellent, with a signal booster within 20ft. Managed to get unit working but only stayed on line for two days this time. Also was never able to get the Amazon key feature working…. went through the process several times got an error each time, with no explanation. How the @?#% is one supposed to fix the error when you have no idea what it is. After at least 4 (I lost count) attempts to get this thing to work I gave up.

It was hard to install, however, the aspp is great!

I can now close my garage door after my kids forget to close it and I am at work rather than leaving it open for hours. I also can monitor the opening of that garage door while I am away from home on vacation. This is a great purchase at a fantastic price for all the functionality you get.

This product worked well with my Liftmaster garage door opener. The online instruction video from the MyQ app was excellent. 5 easy steps. I watched it a couple of times before I did the installation. It took me less then an hour to install. It is working great. Trying my first Amazon garage door delivery this week.

I purchased this online at the recommendation of a garage door installer. Looking at the online instructions that I downloaded it looked very complicated. However, once I plugged in the unit to power, it guided me through the entire process, which was so simple. It allows Wi-Fi and it also extended the range of my garage door opener by another 20 m.

Fonctionne très avec 2 portes de garage. Je n'ai pas l'impression que ce système pourrait être utilisé avec une troisième porte de garage. L'installation est simple et le logiciel est très facile d'utilisation sur mon iPhone. Vous aurez cependant besoin d'un signal internet très fort dans le garage. J'ai rehaussé le signal dans le garage directement et depuis aucun problème. Je penses que le système pourrait avoir une meilleure antenne cependant cela est une difficulté facile à corriger.

This product used to be HomeKit (and Google Home) compatible but they decided to remove the compatibility. I bought this sensor and the controller unit for my home and does not connect to HomeKit in any way. I had read extensively on whether or not this was HomeKit compatible and it was indicated that it was but the articles I was reading were a year old. They have since decided to REMOVE compatibility and make their product worse. If you have a smart home STAY AWAY from anything MyQ.

Easy to install and configure. I have 2 sets but 1 has more trouble in consistency the other is fine
