If you want a functional sink basket that makes you smile every time you turn on the kitchen faucet, this is it. I clean it after every cooking episode so it stays clean and bright. Smaller food pieces collect around the rim instead of getting into the strainer part, but they are easy to wipe away - I use a very small piece of paper towel. This is a strainer, not a drain stop - which is what I wanted.

Best sink stopper ever..I used to buy the ones from Dollar store but sometimes water woulnt drain through and back up. I do not have an issue with that with this one. It is very cute. They have different designs. The one I currently have is the frog. The size is for any standard kitchen sink. Would not fit in bathroom sink. I may have a different kind. Will include in photos. As for the kitchen sink it covers the entire hole area and food debris does not get through the sides. One con is they jack up the price at times. I purchased them only when it was on sale and I got it for between 4 to 8 dollars. I change mine 8months to a year . You can easily clean it...yes take out debris but I mean actually rinse clean it to prevent smell. The designs make me smile so thats a bonus when doing dishes etc. Summed up does what it says, not for bathroom sink and wait for sale price.

Had a sink basket/plug which kept dropping into the hole and not letting water out. Came with the sink and was expensive to replace. This works perfectly ( I don't need it to plug the hole) and is more efficient for catching debris and easier to clean out. Gives you a smile when at the sink...! Can't say that too often...
