These bags worked great with my homemade wine. I like the fact that the fitment is easy to remove and re-apply. I strongly recommend purchasing the filling stand, it makes the job much easier. For even better results, I used clamps to hold the stand and the bag as a unit, this facilitated the pouring and made the closing much easier. Measure the wine first using a 1.5L bottle or two 750ml bottles, that way you'll be sure it's the right volume.

The problem is when the bags are filled they don’t fit in the boxes provided. I believe I received the wrong boxes. I have bought these before and didn’t have any issues. This purchase clearly was a mistake.

Was little hard to fill at first without the collar. Overfilled the first couple of ones - the bags hold more than will fit in the boxes. Next year we'll measure it out first or use our kitchen scale. Had a pin hole leak in one that ruined all the boxes. Contacted the company and they sent me new boxes free of charge.

The bags were easily punctured. Not as easy to use as stated.

If you make your own wine, this is a convenient way to bottle it. However, the inclination is to fill the bag, and if you do that, it will not fit in the box. We have wooden 3L boxes that a filled bag will fit into, but you should only fill it half way to fit it into the provided box. Obviously in the future, we'll get the bags only and skip the box option.

My wine bags and boxes came quickly and in excellent condition. I am looking forward to using them with my next batch of wine, as soon as I figure out how to fill them.

The bags works well by themselves. However, if you fill up to the actual volume, they will not fit into the corrugated cardboard boxes. And the corrugated cardboard boxes are very low quality. We bought this and the 3L ones. Same problem with them too.
