Review: Easy to use and clean - Super easy to use and clean. My son loves dinosaurs so I knew this would be the perfect addition to Xmas morning. He helped me mix the waffle batter and placed them in the maker before I turned it on. When he was done, we closed it, popped it on for 5 minutes, and he had perfectly cooked dino waffles for Xmas morning breakfast. He was elated! Super easy to just pop off the cast iron trays to clean after it was cooled down. Naturally, as with most new products, there was a bit of a plasticy-smell when we first used it, but we have used it handful of times since and the smell is dissipating with each additional use. Small enough where storing it is super easy, too. It doesn't take up much room at all.
Review: Update: new one works. - Update: company contacted me and replaced the iron. The new iron works great. Not problems so far. Had this for about one month. Shapes turned out okay. Not great, but okay. But, after 3 uses, the heating coil completely failed (turns on, but no heat), and it started to come apart. I have screws and parts loose, but no idea where they are all from. Have never dropped this waffle maker, and followed all manufacturers instructions in care. I also can’t return it after only 1 month. Don’t waste your money!

**Q: How big is each waffle?**
A: No specific size. But you can make 7 different shapes of waffles at once. It's very good at making the shapes, heats up quickly and cooks quickly. One cup of waffle mix fills up the iron twice, and each time filled is a good serving size for my 7 year olds.

A: Any will work.

**Q: How to remove the waffle plates to clean? Is it easy to clean?**
A: I am using one hand since I am recording. It will be much easier if you use both hands. The non-sticky surface is relatively easy to wash. some of the corners still need some efforts

Super easy to use and clean. My son loves dinosaurs so I knew this would be the perfect addition to Xmas morning. He helped me mix the waffle batter and placed them in the maker before I turned it on. The item is easy to clean, the plates for the dinosaur shapes are removable so you don’t have to risk the actual electronic components getting wet when washing. I would say this item does cook very quickly and to be cautious when using the first few times until you know the machine better. I would recommend this item as I am still using it years later.
