I installed this for a single phase supply. As I stay in a area where there are high thunderstorms and lightning, I bought this one instead of single phase one. Two cartridges are not connected and are kept as spare.During the initial rains one of the cartridges was blown, that proves that this works. Good product to have for safety

Dangerous and Defective – Avoid This Product!
I bought this product 8 months ago, and it worked fine—until today. I woke up to find the SPD burning and melted! I had installed it properly, using electrical clips with no loose connections, no heavy load, and no thunder or lightning. There was no reason for this failure other than the product itself being defective.To make matters worse, it doesn’t even come with a warranty! This brand is fooling customers with low-quality products that can be a serious safety hazard. Do not buy this—it’s not worth the risk!

This product performance is very poor within a day it got damaged, we have two system were one spd was working fine but it got damaged , not at all worth it, totally dissatisfied
