**Q: If I were to use this to recirculate rubbing alcohol in a tub with a tube to clean things with, do I technically still need to clean the pump?**
A: The fire should take care of any cleaning concerns. These pumps are exclusively designed to pump water.

**Q: Is the included tubing .24" i.d. or o.d. ?  why is there 3.3' of tubing if the unit only has 2' of head lift ?**
A: Tubing is typically measured by outside diameter, where pipe is typically measured by inside diameter. Extended length tubing allows for coiling or indirect routing. You can estimate the flow rate to be inversely proportional to the vertical distance between the pump and the outlet end of the tube. I have had good success with 12-15" of height--yielding a slow, but steady flow rate.

**Q: What "car cooling circulation systems", air conditioner, washing machines, and medical equipent is this used in? will this cool the engine in my gtr?**
A: I do in my water fountain it works perfectly

**Q: What water cooling systems, coffee machines, water dispensers, team makers, "pourer", "soilless culture", and bathroom products is this used in?**
A: This is a water pump for aquariums! It is not suitable for hot water applications or when high pressure is needed such as coffee makers or computer cooling systems.
