How long are the needles?

14 inches long. I can cast on and knit with over two hundred stitches in worsted weight yarn on these needles, which is very handy for making blankets.

Are the needles hollow and easily bent? Or are they solid throughout? I have a pair currently that bend easily and am looking for something sturdy.

These are NOT stainless steel regardless of what the description says. They are plastic. Not sure if they are hollow but they are not sturdy at all.

This kit is very nice, but it does not contain standard us sizes #1 (2.25mm), #2 (2.75mm), #3 (3.25mm), & #5 (3.75mm). will you ever include them?

The needles are light but sturdy and good quality, very smooth. Each pair came in individual packs and they were all contained in a storage bag which makes it convenient to carry with you when travelling. Good range of sizes. I like the accompanying accessories, too: again, good quality and quite useful. It makes this set complete so that you are ready to go and handle a project from A to Z. Perfect for beginners but also for experienced knitters (my mum loved this set). Great price. So far I have not had any issue, I am really satisfied.
