NFA The Complete Quarterback Self- Correct System- Volumes 1-8

Was looking for some different material to train my son and my QBs at the school and came across these videos. Very detailed description on hows and whys of throwing the football. Easy to follow instruction and plenty of drills to back them up. Real game type instruction. All in all a great collection.

My review at this point is based off the product itself not the content. Disc 2 was scratched to the point it was unreadable so we have not been able to watch the DVD. I did not check any of the other discs

I have coached and trained QBs for 15 years, and have found no better resource than National Football Academies. This DVD series, "The Complete Quarterback Self-Correct System" is THE comprehensive product to help any QB develop sound mechanics, increase accuracy and power, and play more confidently. The understanding of how to throw the football better, to be bio-mechanically sound and consistently accurate, is currently the most under-coached aspect of quarterback play. This DVD series excels at clearly demonstrating how, through a progressive teaching of concepts and applicable drills, a quarterback can develop this vital skill. I could not recommend this product any more highly for any QB who desires to play at his/her best, or any coach who wishes to help his/her QB with this goal.

I have books, watched online videos, purchased other DVD's and this is the best QB training resource and it's not even close. The concepts being taught are crystal clear and presented in a way that you need no prior knowledge to understand. They do a tremendous job of tying the information and technique to the bio-mechanics of the body. Most other training tools I've found present information, but struggle to tie it to why it being taught that way. I currently own several resources that just repeat coaching cliches and have drills that don't necessarily tie to anything of substance, it's great to have finally found something that's different. The sequence and types of drills being presented in the DVD's do a great job of reinforcing the information. The clarity, depth and process presented in the DVD's will help any willing QB be a master of his own mechanics!

I am in my 15th year of coaching, and 2nd year as HS QB Coach and OC. I have used the NFA QB training system with my QBs for years and it is helped me tremendously in helping young men to develop as Quarterbacks. I find NFA's curriculum to be the most comprehensive approach to mechanics that provides the "why's" to what is being taught. This approach has truly helped teach me as a coach, so that I have a better overall understanding of what to teach, why to teach, and how to teach. I am able to walk out onto the field a more confident position coach with a knowledge base that has equipped me to better serve my athletes. These newly updated DVD's are a shining example of what the NFA is about and the absolutely professional approach they take in how they help not only players, but coaches to develop. I've found it refreshing that the leader in the Quarterback training industry, the NFA, is constantly re-evaluating, retooling and fine tuning their mechanics and how they are taught. The teaching model and progression to provide younger QB's with a solid foundational floor is top notch. Once again, the NFA has hit a home run with this latest set of instructional DVDs. This set of DVDs has really helped our QBs at West Anchorage High School up here in Alaska. As a QB coach who lives and coaches a tad off the beaten path I was looking for a way to make the most difficult position in sports to play a little easier. Not only do these videos do a great job of breaking down the biomechanics of the throw with concepts that are clear and concise, but they also include drills to accelerate and help create a more efficient, fluid throwing motion. I have noticed a measurable difference in velocity, orbital rotation, and accuracy in all my QBs. And that is not all...the real kicker is that Darin Slack also touches on the importance of leadership as well. I have been to a ton of clinics, read a lot about QB play, and been on all the sites that pertain to how to be a better QB. This set of DVDs hands down provides the the best well-rounded approach to increasing performance for a QB of any age!

This product was delivered promptly and well packaged. Coach Slack shows a depth of knowledge of the quarterback position that is not commonly seen. This system is very comprehensive and is worth watching multiple times and referring back to. The instruction is very thorough and well demonstrated, so there is never really a time where I was thinking, "What on earth does that mean?" Not only do these DVD's teach the QB position, but they also teach a young athlete to correct his self in real time situations. Beyond the mechanics, coach Slack teaches young athletes the invaluable lessons of discipline, leadership, and being a teammate that young men aspire to follow. I can't recommend this product enough!

I have been coaching youth football for 16 years and constantly look for new training techniques and drills to help my QB's develop. This is the best QB development training I have come across. The concepts are clear, concise and easy to understand. The DVD's are great for a coach wanting to teach proper mechanics or for self study by up and coming QB's or their parents. Coach Slack teaches bio-mechanically sound principles that help a QB understand why they miss their target and how to self correct. There are a ton of great drills on the DVD's to help teach and apply the skills being taught. I highly recommend Coach Slack's Complete Quarterback System.
