Can I use multiple memory cards in the AP80?

Hi There is only one Micro SD card slot , so can only use 1 card each time. But if you change the card they you will still need to update database . Hope this helps

Does it have seamless playback between tracks or is there a dropout?

You can stream music from a phone and use the Hidizs as an external dac when directly connected to it. This should improve upon the phone's sound quality especially when listening using headphones when plugged into its balanced output.

I have all my music on ipod, can i transfer from it onto the ‎ap80 pro-x portable?

Yes. If your Ipod content is on a pc hardrive too just copy and paste it to the Hidizs SD card. I've done it with my ITunes stuff and it works fine.
