Can you put some water between the inner and outer containers to freeze so it can chill the ice cream faster and keep it chilled while serving?

Sorry, no. I keep them in the freezer even when empty so they are always very cold and ready for my luscious keto friendly ice cream creations. 😋

One of mine cracked. Is it still safe to use?

I would not want to as it will not retain the desired temp for the ice cream . If you just got it and arrived broken see about returning it?

Nice design, prevents ice cram to be rock hard and burns by low temperature. Lid is not the best one, does not snap in to place well.
