My dad and hubby mounted this above the fireplace about a year and a half ago. Our TV is pretty big and heavy. They spent a while figuring everything out and drilling 2X4s to the wall because we are in a rented home. They attached the mount to the 2X4s, which can’t be seen now. The TV swivels to the right or left, moves left or right (to be able to center it where you want it), can come away from the wall toward you, and I think it even tilts up or down. It’s easy to move and we’ve had no issues. It’s in the corner so I like to angle it often then push it back in. It’s definitely had some use. FYI We have been using the fireplace this past week and because we have a mantle, the TV area is not getting overly warm. Use caution if you mount it above a fireplace and keep an eye on the temp of your TV. If you don’t have a mantle, I’d recommend mounting it somewhere else if you plan on using the fireplace.

I highly recommend this product. It’s very nice very sturdy very durable. We used wood studs that I think are about an inch and a half thick. We were able to find the wall studs in the wall, but I just wanted to add this for extra security measures. My TV is 75 inches from Roku and it works great.

This TV mount is very strong. I have a 65" TV on it and it holds it very securely.

Only giving it 4 because I was missing like 3 packs of the screws but luckily I had some from my other mouth I had previously bought but than that works like a charm

Had it for a few years now and it’s been holding up great! Our tv is a 75 inch and we are able to move it all around with this hanger.

I only wish I had bought this sooner. Easy to mount and makes life so much easier being able to move tv to face bed. We put it in our spare room. I wish I had one for our bedroom and living room. Well made!

Totally pleased with this mount for my 85" TV. Although, I had some concerns about the width of the part that mounted to the wall. I thought it should have been at least 6" wider. But, I first anchored a piece of 3/4" plywood on the wall first making sure I hit two studs with lag bolts. Then mounted the articulating TV mount with extra lag bolts. It worked great and I painted the plywood first the color of the wall.

Works great and adjusts nicely, comes off the wall a couple feet so it’s easy to plug in wires etc

The mount itself is great, I had a problem where my studs behind my mantle were 30” apart so had to use a 2x6 and 2X4 to mount to the wall prior to mounting the bracket. This thing ain’t moving. Lol. I’d looked for days at high cost brackets in stores and none of course were able to accommodate 30inch studs for the wall bracket side, but this bracket was 1/4 of the price of the ones in store and was just as sturdy and offered all the types of adjustments. It even came with a selection mounting bolts and depth adapters for the back of the tv. Extremely impressed by this low cost mount, don’t waste your money on one at the electronics store! Definitely would recommend and will buy from this brand again!

Fantastic mount for a great price. Worked perfect for our wall unit as the arm is sturdy and allows us to pull it out from the wall. Holds our 75” TV well. Setup was straight forward with lots of options for screws on the tv. Very impressed.

Good mount for tv

After many years of wanting to install one of these, I did as I knew that I was not going to be moving to another place. Comes with a good template to mark the places to drill the holes. The included spirit level was not as accurate as my own and have read that from other reviewers. So, you might use your own. There is a +/- 3 degree rotational movement on one plate to compensate for this or if you were off when drilling the holes. Easy to do when drilling into concrete. Has a good range of motion for my use. Installed it at the appropriate height so don't strain the neck or eyes while watching. An excellent buy.
