I was hesitant to go an extra size up, but I wouldn't survive just a large. I wear M-L shorts (Size 34-36) and bought these in XL and they wear well. Go a size up!

Fits perfect for a guy with a big butt and a hulk smash physique.

These are not the stretchy kind of thigh hugger shorts. They are more of a canvas material. There is elastic in the waist to keep that snug. There is also a chord in the waist for added security.Again... POCKETS! Not little mouthguard pockets either, full length hand depth pockets that go all the way down to the hem. These I can wear to the gym and not play hide and seek with my phone :)

They have full pockets, but are not cotton twill. Maybe they’ll last.A little tight in the thighs, but I am a leg-heavy prop.I’ll ask my locks how they feel on their ears...

Cannot g wrong with Canterbury. Quality material, nice length and great fit around the waist. I own 3 pairs in different colors and would not hesitate to purchase more. They have pockets and are perfect for vacations, Gym and general Summer wear.

Fits too tight around thighs when you go into a crouch. Restricts leg movement and the back rides down showing the crack of your a##.

These were exactly what I wanted.

Very thick, strong material. You are not going to tear these easily. After several matches and practices there is no way to tell they have even been worn. That may say something about my performance, but lets leave that alone for now. Very tough shorts though. Not too great for lounging yet as they are still too stiff. May take awhile for the material to break in
