Excellent Video Playback.
Excellent device! Package arrived with all cables and items needed for setup and Video clarity.. Works well with my VHS tapes. Personal NOTE: Since the rewind function is always the first to malfunction, I use a separate “auto-rewind” device for the rewinding of cassettes.

Short lived DVD player refurbished, only worked a few months.
Worked only a few months but was still worth trying .

Big disappointment
Viewing vhs tape worked fine. Rewinding was not possible. The machine jammed the tape. Dvd player did not work well--discs would freeze for minutes then jump forward. I will.not buy another reworked product.

Good used combo DVD/VHS player.
Nice unexpected accessories came with the package including a universal remote already tuned to player, conversion kit from standard av connectors to hdmi (didn’t get to work with tv), batteries etc. VHS & DVD players work fine. Had trouble with dvd tracking, May have been a poor quality disc. Appears to be in overall good condition, especially for a used reconditioned unit.

Sony Combo Player
This was a gift but I think he is very happy with it. It was exactly what he wanted and it works very well. Glad it comes with a remote control and easy to work.

Product was a piece of junk. It ate two VHS tapes. Ruined them. It also would not allow me to play any DVDs. I would strongly recommend never buying a refurbished item from Amazon. They obviously do not check or test what they claim to have repaired.
