Where is the steamer made?

Sorry, I forgot what the label said. Doubt it was the US. However, it appears to be stainless steel "plated". Too light for 100%. BTW, it works wonderfully. Use it often.

Is the bottom of the pot flat? I need to use it on the glass oven top.

This is good for steaming. Use it on low to medium heat. The cookware is very light in weight. I was shocked at how light in weight the pants are. I would recommend it for that.
