THIRDREALITY Smart Plug 4 Pack, 15A Smart Outlet with Timer Function, Zigbee Repeater, ETL Certified, Requires ZigBee Hub, No Power Meter

I bought these a while back because they were on sale and I wanted to try a different brand. It paired easily with Home Assistant. It also did a OTA firmware update that was pretty slick. My SONOFFs don’t do that! I used these for Christmas lights last year. Worked great. With HA, it’s nice to be able to set them to go on and off at specific times or have Siri turn them on and off via voice command. I only used these during the holiday season so not a lot of time on them but they’ve worked well so far.

works great to extend your zigbee range. Just make sure when you connect them to your zigbee coordinator that the red light is on which means zigbee. If it connects and the light is green / blue, it connected via bluetooth. Also make sure they connect to your coordinatior, if you have multiple echo devices, when you hit discover devices, all my eero's and echo 4th gens search as well as my echo hub. Just get it closer to the device you want to be your coordinatior and if you see them connect to another device, you need to redo it or you have 2 independent zigbee meshes going on.

The smart outlets were easy to add to the Aeotec zigbee hub and worked well with Smartthing. However one of the four failed to work out of the box. it was recognozed by the hub but could not be turned On or Off. I tried to reset the outlet many times with no change. I would return the defective one for replecement if I could, But it seems that I can only return all four as a package for replacement. As the other three are already in use and I hate to bother reinstalling and programing everything again. Anyone know if I can just get one replaced? Update - ThirdReality support team contacted me promptly and proactively. They provided suggestions that fixed the non-working plug. Now the problems has been resolved and I would rate the product support a 5-star.

All I can really say about these is that they work better than any zigbee plug I have ever had. They connected to Home Assistant within 15-20 seconds. I needed to expand my zigbee network to my garage to add some temp sensors and a couple other battery operated devices. While the signal was ok. These plugs helped expand it and make that network work even better. And not having to go looking for documentation or write some code to get them to work was nice If your looking for a cheaper way to add some repeaters to your zigbee network. This is a great product to do so with. I will be looking at there other products now. Edit 04/27/2024: I have had these for almost 6 months now. And out of all the devices I have connected to my home assistant setup and zigbee network. I have had ZERO issues with these. Even the one I put in my garage that is not insulated and lasted a Michigan winter. Very few products impress me. But these absolutely do. And will continue to suggest them to anyone looking for a smart plug.

Love these plugs. The integrate perfectly with Home Assistant and Hubitat. Very reliable as repeaters too. Always instant on/off. One of the most reliable devices in my 200+ device setup. Highly recommend.

I use these with Home Assistant using a zigbee hub. It is important to me that every device works locally with my Home Assistant server without the need for proprietary hubs and online web services. They are very easy to setup and use.

If you have a Zigbee gateway (I do via Home Assistant Yellow) these are the best smart plugs on the market. No cloud connectivity required. Setup is as simple as plug it in and let your zigbee gateway detect it. Furthermore these smart plugs are super responsive. There is almost no delay between hitting the toggle in home assistant and the lights going on or off. Being that these are plug-in zigbee devices they will act as repeaters for any battery operated zigbee sensors you may also have nearby.

Normally I don't buy things with so few reviews, but seeing as this switch was inexpensive, said it was ETL certified, and handles 15 Amps I took a chance. Glad I did. For the price these are great. Pros: - ZigBee which works perfectly with Hubitat - ETL certified, which I verified. I'd prefer UL, but ETL is great too and gives some confidence it's safely built. - Handles a full 15A of current. I didn't test this but it's a physical relay so likely it will. - Physical relay with a click. Cons: - No power meter reporting. - Does not restore previous state after power loss (maybe a firmware update could give this as an option?) I did not test the advertised BLE mode. It's unfortunate the 2nd review ever is from someone who doesn't understand how ZigBee works and gave an undeserved 1-star review because a hub is needed. It's things like that that keep great new products from having a successful launch they deserve. These are great for what they are designed to be.

These smart plugs do what they’re supposed to and do it well. I bought them to expand my Zigbee network, and they’ve worked flawlessly so far. Setup was smooth, and they’ve been stable in daily use. I use them with Zigbee2MQTT on Home Assistant, and integration was seamless. I love Third Reality products and have many of them across my smart home setup—they’re consistently reliable, affordable, and easy to work with. These plugs are no exception.

Los compré por error, quería otros 4 con medidor de energía qué son otro modelo, pero me sirven para reforzar la red Zigbee y manejar algunos dispositivos. Se integran de inmediato sin problemas a Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT.

Funciona como esperaba para mis automatizaciones en Home Assistant. Sin embargo, la próxima vez optaría por los que tienen medición de energía.
