Raven's Progressive Matrices™ Practice Book: Prepare With 100 RPM/SPM/APM IQ Questions With Explanations (IQ Tests series)

Needs more complex APM 3 problems and solutions, otherwise this still reads more like the childrens version vs the adult.

Needs editing. I was captivated by the puzzles but from the blatant error on #73 where a piece is omitted, to the spelling errors on the back cover, to the “solutions” that absolutely do not under any circumstances match the puzzles (e.g. count of points on the side of a line), this can be a frustrating book. The cost of these books is prohibitive: I had to buy from eBay to start a collection. I appreciate how hard it must be to come up with the matrices and would feel more comfortable buying new if I knew that the suggested rules really matched the puzzles. Before cementing my judgement I’m going to try a few more books.

Good book

I used Raven’s Progressive Matrices Practice Book to prep for a nonverbal reasoning test, and I found it quite valuable. The matrices are well-chosen, and working through them helped me sharpen pattern recognition, improve logical thinking, and get faster at seeing which answer “fits.” It reduced some of my anxiety because I felt more familiar with the format and what kinds of distractors are likely.

Ottimo libro, molto utile per esercitarsi nei quiz logici

E' scritto in Inglese, ma questo si sapeva anche se speravo che c'era un metodo per tradurre in Italiano. Non ho avuto il tempo di iniziare a fare i test, mi sono fermato alla seconda domanda, perchè non riuscivo ad evidenziare la risposta e quindi conservarla per sapere il punteggio e confrontarla con le risposte esatte indicate sul libro. Spiegazione dei comandi insufficienti, era necessario indicare come procedere per dare la risposta. Non so se le spiegazioni giustificative della risposta esatta sono logiche e chiare.
