Best cooler in the universe
I bought this for my husband to use as a lunch cooler. I have purchased the usual brands in the past and they either don't keep his food cold all day or the are flimsy and end up coming home with duct tape holding the lid on. And don't get me started on the prices for these pieces of junk with a "name" on them. When I saw this I thought "why not, Klein makes tough tools, why not a cooler". It came pretty quickly and I also ordered the 2 Klein ice packs for the bottom. It is a really sturdy cooler and can actually double as a seat at break time! It has a ton of room inside and a secure compartment in the lid for napkins, utensils, whatever. PERFECT! The first lunch i packed all fit with no squishing and the carry strap works much better than those solid handles that can't be thrown over your shoulder. It has a place for a lock on the lid if you happen to have a snack cake snatched on site and we've all had one of those at one time or another! It kept my husband's lunch cold, his drinks frosty and his brownies safe! This is THE BEST COOLER I have ever purchased and I will never, ever spend too much money on those other brands again! And you shouldn't either! We have taken it to the beach, the lake, fishing trips, you name it and it always performs at 110%.

Amazing cooler
Great cooler if I have it out in direct sunlight it holds ice for a whole day if I have it in my truck it holds ice for two and a half days. Small enough to fit in my tractor but big enough to hold anything I might need I usually keep six bottles of water and Three monsters. I forgot it was on the back of my flatbed and took off with it down the road it fell off while I was going about 20 mph and didn't really damage the cooler a whole lot so it's pretty durable. I've had several different kinds of coolers including igloo, lifetime and Ozark trails but for the price of this cooler and the quality of it I'm placing another order for two of them as gifts. I might even buy the bigger version just to keep on my truck but so far this one has held up and has been my longest lasting cooler

Bigger and better than I expected
This thing is big, tough and sturdy. Coworker commented if I brought a mini fridge for lunch haha I'll have this beast for years. I bought it because I work outdoors and moving from site to site. I'll need somewhere to sit while I eat which is one of the selling points of this monster. It'll be easy to clean, just spray it down with the hose. The strap is strong and the metal side attachments make me believe that I'll be able to carry this wherever I go for years. There's one dry compartment inside the top lid. Kinda wish there was additional pockets or pouches but this thing is enormous inside so there's plenty of room for whatever you bring for lunch. Buy it.

Best Versatile Cooler
Klein Tools 55600 Work Cooler Review I’ve been using the Klein Tools 55600 Work Cooler on job sites and weekend projects, and it’s become my go-to for keeping drinks and snacks ice-cold all day. In 90°F heat, with two to three large ice packs, it easily maintains a chill for 8–12 hours—more than enough for a full shift outdoors. Key Features • 17-quart capacity holds up to 18 standard cans • Durable roto-molded construction rated to support up to 300 lb • Thick insulation delivers up to 30 hours of cooling under ideal conditions • Tradesman Pro Tough Box design resists dents, dings, and UV damage • Compact enough to stash under a bench or in a truck bed Real-World Performance On hot summer days, I loaded the cooler with 2–3 big gel packs and a dozen canned drinks. Even after 10 hours in direct sun, everything was still frosty. The seal around the lid is snug enough to prevent leaks and prevent ice from melting too quickly, and the heavy-duty latch keeps everything locked in tight. There’s plenty of room for lunch containers, sandwiches, and a few cold salads alongside your beverages. I’ve even tossed in a frozen block of fruit for an afternoon snack that stayed firm until I was ready to eat. Unexpected Bonus: Versatile Work Stool The top of this cooler is built like a mini workbench—flat, rigid, and easy to stand on. I often use it at home to gain a couple extra inches when reaching high kitchen cabinets or changing lightbulbs. Supporting up to 300 lb without flex makes it more reliable than most folding step stools I’ve owned. Build Quality & Value From the robust hinges to the reinforced handles, every detail feels thoughtfully engineered. The shell has taken knocks on concrete floors and gravel driveways with zero damage, and it’s simple to clean when mud or sawdust accumulates. Considering its performance, I find the price point completely justified—this cooler will outlast cheaper alternatives by years. Final Verdict If you need a rugged cooler that doubles as a work stool and keeps your refreshments icy in extreme heat, the Klein Tools 55600 is worth every penny. Highly recommend for tradespeople, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who values durability and reliable temperature retention.

So close to the perfect cooler!
Add a handle and it would be a 10 star cooler!!!! This cooler is great for summertime use in construction. It's bigger than an average lunch box cooler so it holds more drinks. Keeps things nice and cold. Makes a great seat for sitting on without denting the lid (I'm 220lbs). Definitely durable. My only complaint is it doesn't have a handle. That's not a deal-breaker but it makes it harder to get it out of your car. It does have a heavy duty strap. But add a handle and it's the perfect cooler.

Sturdy, great lunch cooler
Had ice last nearly 3 days, retains cold well. It's been between 80 & 95 degrees

Really good, just not waterproof
Really good cooler. Solid handle/strap and lid. Sturdy for sitting on. Keeps food cold about as good as much higher end coolers in this size range. Easy to clean. The only downside I've run into is it is NOT waterproof, left in the rain it will take on water

The Big Chill
After researching various coolers, I decided to get this one made by Klein. This cooler has pretty much all the features I want. Namely I wanted a cooler with 1) good ice retention, 2) nice size but not too heavy and 3) not overly expensive. The hold 17 quarts. It also had a tiny compartment to hold things you wouldn't want to get wet from the other contents inside the cooler. To test the ice retention, I didn't have ice cubes to test with so instead froze about a dozen 10 ounce sized water bottles. Then I layered the cooler with a couple of pre-frozen reusable ice packs, the frozen bottles of water and some more ice packs on top. I then kept the cooler closed except to check after 30, 36 and 48 hours. i left the cooler out, indoors at about 80 degrees for this test. To my satisfaction, even after 48 hours in the cooler, most of the bottles of water were still partially frozen. Pretty impressive! Here is what I like and dislike of this cooler: Likes: - good ice retention - plenty of size (17 quarts) - light weight for the cooler's capacity - tiny dry stuff compartment - hasp for locking lid if needed Dislikes: -------- - not a deal breaker, but my preference is more solid handle instead of a seatbelt type strap I give the Fein 17 quart cooler 5 out of 5 stars.

Spacious, Durable, and Super Practical
My boyfriend absolutely loves this lunch box. He can fit his lunch plus a 2L water bottle without any problem, and it still closes easily. It’s also very sturdy—he can comfortably sit on it during his breaks. Great quality and very practical! A little big but worth it
