Review: More Personality and Better Protection (but no belt clip!) - I wanted a more colorful and protective case for my Tandem T:Slim X2 than the standard Tandem "t:case" and decided on this one last year. I have been very happy with it. It provides more coverage to the front of the pump and has a deeper bezel around the screen than the t:case. It fits very well, but is easy to install and remove, though there isn't much of a need to remove it after it is installed. Like the t:case it is designed so you can charge the pump, view the screen, press the wake button, and change cartridges and tubing without removing the pump from the case. I don't recall having any occasion to remove it in the past year and a half. One thing to know is that this case does NOT have a belt clip like the t:case, so if that is a required feature you will need to look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a case with a little more protection and a little more personality, this case is for you.

**Q: Does this provide significantly more protection than other silicone cases? Also, how hard is it to remove and put on this case?**
A: This case is like baking silicone molds. It’s very stretchy and flexible. Easy to put on and off. As for protection, idk. We haven’t dropped it. But if it did drop I would expect damage to the pump.

**Q: Whats the recommended clip to attach to this?**
A: I do not use the clip as I just put the pump with the case in my pocket/

A: No clip

**Q: Can the cartridge be changed without removing the case?**
A: Yes. You can change it and access the battery as well. The battery one is a little mis-cut so you have to nudge it out of the way to close it. No big. I love the case

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A solid, protective case for your Tandem t:slim X2 Insulin Pump

Overall a solid, protective case for anyone with a Tandem t:slim X2 insulin pump. It's excellent if you want something that will almost "grab" to your pockets, and not fall right out like virtually every other hard plastic case out there. That includes Tandem's OEM case that comes with your pump initially. My only complaints are that 1) it can be a bit too hard to pull out of your pocket (that's where I keep mine) as it grabs to some types of materials more aggressively than others. In addition, the cutout for the charging port is slightly smaller than it needs to be. Therefore, you have to either take it partially out of the case to charge it (which I find easiest), or fiddle with the silicone for a bit to be able to open the charging port. Otherwise, it has held up well for the two months I've had it, and I wash it every time I change my site with soap and water.
