I bought these for our daughter's wedding to put little cards in them with notes for people (like at the sign in table.). They worked perfectly although I think they would work best with a thicker yardstick sort of paper. (They have a decent weight to them that works.) although I don't think they would hold a thin paper upright well... although if you were just using them for business cards (or any smaller size paper) I think they would work perfectly. But they were sturdy enough to hold up our cardstock cards (which were probably between the 3x5 and 4x6 inch size) and they did what I needed them to do. They looked great and were obviously easy to use since you simply slid the card in. I now use them to put a note on the toilet of our guest bathroom.

These were perfect for holiday cards

My mom has dexterity and vision issues but loves to play cards. These blocks serve as great playing card holders. She can manage fitting the cards in the slot and move the blocks around to arrange her cards at will without cramping her hand to hold all the cards at once. A typical card holder tray is too difficult for her to find the slot and insert the card so these worked great as the slots a little bit bigger and the the blocks are easier to manage.

Great product

Picture shows what looks like a top loader being held... I couldn't achieve that, mine kept falling out. But I'm going to shave some wood off and paint them and see how they turn out
