I have both an offset and I prefer this curved version. Dexter Russell and Mercer also make good bread knives but I like the Victorinox handle and balance better, it’s overall more comfortable and intuitive!! The handles on the Victorinox classics are great in hand. The knives are not fancy but they are very utilitarian. Victorinox puts their effort into the edge of these simple knives and they are worth the price!! I like the idea of having fancier knives but I have been totally content with this brand. Easy to use and maintain, durable as long as you treat them right (don’t throw into the sink or use the dishwasher).
